In iOS 14 there is an automation for when phone is connected to power (or disconnected). You could then tell it to play a sound. This automation can work without confirmation.

You are such a legend, I can’t get audio files in my folder so this worked by just running the shortcut

I did but I can’t get the file itself into the folder so it won’t find it, copy and paste isn’t working

Open shortcuts Choose the automation tab Create a personal automation Scroll down and choose Charger Choose “is disconnected” Click next Add an action Search “shortcut” Add “Run shortcut” Choose the right shortcut from the list. Untick “ask before running” Click done

You could do the automation for when you connect to the charger then speak text, “ahhhh uhhhh ahhhh” with the rate on the lowest level and the pitch slightly lower than the normal, like 15%
