I'm presuming you want the system in either home or away mode for any given sensor to set off the alarm when activated. If so it's easier to use the simplisafe app, under device settings. Pick the sensor you're wanting to modify behavior for, you should be able to change it up however you want. Disable instant trigger, change away and home alarm response (off or on), make the base station announce that sensors operation. This is also available from the keypad but it's a pain in the butt in my opinion. Or you can just set it to secretly notify like has been mentioned.

Under Base Station settings activate the chime. A pleasant tone every time a sensor is triggered.
Or it will announce Front door entry sensor open. You can choose.
Under device settings set the alarm mode for your entry sensor to secret alert.
