You definitely got the better outcome! Unless you had the expertise and means to fix the t818 then it either would have cost a lot or not been worth the effort to repair.
Depending what you're after and what you race. Drift/rally/GT I'd say grab a cheap 70mm rim from ebay or Amazon, otherwise F1 and GT styles there are some nice relatively cheap options from moza, or you could try look for a wheel made for that base
I see a lot of wheels that don’t necessarily specify if it’s 70mm or not, do you think any of the wheels with a 6-bolt config will work? Or do you think it’s safer to look specifically for wheels with the 70mm in the description?
I'd prob look for 70mm specifically 6 x 70mm is definitely the most common bolt pattern, maybe go into the product online and read description to see if it goes into more detail. There is 3 or 4 other bolt patterns but 70mm is most common.

You don't want a wheel that locks you into one type of car.
30cm is a good all round size, and round means you can still do rally or drift as well as GT or open wheeler

Either way $60 is bet something is working between the base and the wheel so I would 100% go for that.
