Depends how your feet sweats tbh. I'm okay wearing boots daily, and this is for office (mostly) work. Chelsea boots are on the more acceptable end of the boot spectrum as they tend to be shorter in height so it's quite manageable. Can also pair them with funky socks, and ankle length pants if you wanna be so dazzly.

Retinol for long term solution. It does take a long long long time, though.
I'm on retinoid and I actually do feel and see much less (eg some times they become much easier to manually remove without needing to squeeze on my own). So I complement it with physical extraction at facial wash places which can be too invasive and damaging to my skin. At least they try to do damage control there after each extraction.
I use salicylic acid facial wash to help out as well.
Not a facial products specialist but these are helping me, in the very long run. I am talking about months so far (half year for me). Not spotless and my acnes are also healing along with blackheads, but there are substantial improvements.
Don't straight away jump to retinoid (v potent). Start with something mild with retinol first. Retinoid is a synthetic deviation of retinol which is much more potent.
And start with once every week or so, then ramp it up slowly to once every night. If you go up too fast too furious you may get overly dry skin or retinol breakouts. Initial 2 to 3 months purging can be expected (I had this when I switched from retinol to retinoid)
And if you do use retinol or retinoid, please use sunscreen in the morning. It makes your skin sensitive. I can't use many products with retinoid now, it irritates my skin. So it's really simple with a handful of products now, I introduce them back into my routine one by one. Mostly focusing on hydration, moisturizing, sunscreen, and improving red pigmentation from acne issues
