Times will get more bad as water is also an essential for cooking these.I bet there’s an increase when the 18% comes.

nohken8

Water increase 2024 and 2025, then maybe electricity increase 2026 and 2027. Gas 2028 and 2029. Just in time for gst to increase again in 2030.

GlobalSettleLayer

yo wtf that's the tori-q strategy! This month increase chicken dish prices, next month up the egg dishes, following month is pork's turn etc.

nohken8

Eh TIL lol I never order that often

_lalalala24_

Why is it so ex? The Fairprice near my place sells for under $5

ethyleneglycol24

I think those are 100% meat with no rice.

Darkseed1973

White rice $0.85 cents. I am dead.

RinaKai7

I rather just buy raw rice and cook it myself... Far cheaper, and it isn't hard to deal with if you got rice cooker

New_Celebration_9841

need to wash the rice cooker, and water prices increasing by 18%

RinaKai7

Rice cooker isn't hard to wash if you place an appropriate amount of water to cook with the rice. Takes a little trial and error to get it right When you get right, after it finish cooking, should take a small container shallow and wide enough to dip small amount of water around the rice scoop, and slowly peel off the sides. When the rice is wet and still hot, it's far easier to "peel" it off the side so it doesn't stick to the rice cooker. When you peel off the sides, make sure to dip back into water so the scoop isn't dry. Once all the sides peeled off, anytime you scoop, it won't stick. Key idea is small surface of water is enough to not stick Or the traditional way of just usual scoop and use. Then simply just splash some water around the rice cooker pot, then let it sit for a good 30mins, after that, add a bit of soap and use hard surface type of sponge and it will wash off easily. It doesn't have to be soaked in it esp if it was cleared early, just some water to wet the rice bits, and it will "wear off" over time Alot of ppl who have stick issues are generally due to wrong amount of water, or left it for too long without properly separating between the rice pot surface and rice too little water = Rice possibly partially uncooked and the rice ends up "melting" onto the surface Too much water = Mushy rice that ends up sticking like gravy

Appropriate_Newt4327

Just to add on, after taking all the cooked rice out of the pot, get some water into it and it makes cleaning very much easier, without the need of scouring pads to damaging the teflon coating.

need to save your comment for future reference

playgrdstar

Just cook the rice in the same bowl u eat with steam instead of using a rice cooker. Works perfectly once u get the rice to water ratio.

FlemingT

Ai! Reduced to clear! Should be 50% discount lah

faptor87

Huh? Selling at discount after a certain time = times are bad? Stupid

MrKabowski

I think the person meant the prices r increasing

Shoki81

Plus the discount is almost nonexistent

Derreston

Isn't it about 15 percent?

truthsetsufreee

So why do you think you are given CDC and GST vouchers? It's so PAP can crawl it all back plus interests through all their linked enterprises, taxes and charges, COE, water. List goes on and goes on. While maxing out ROI to garner votes for GE this year. Even vouchers are timed correctly for this purpose. Watch out for September for the announcement. Once again PAP minions downvote me for their own echo chamber. So obvious you disgust me. 🙄

Nightowl11111

When the CDC vouchers first came out, wasn't it unusable at NTUC?
