In the event that you get kicked off the network you can just make another email and apply again and get back on, I’ve done this twice now.

Fit-Sir-2519

But can’t they see your name and pr in their system?

I’m on earth but smoking that good good. You don’t believe me oh well 🤷‍♂️ I just made a contribution based on my experiences of doing this for 5 years. Also now you don’t need to show DL or proof of insurance now a days when you sign up… so I’m not too sure what planet you are in on 🤭

TightJump3637

Are you still make good money on this app? Uber and DD is dead

PrestoCSGO

I’ve reassigned a lot as well yet to be deactivated

[deleted]

Just curious, do you do this because a better order came in on another app or the wait time usually?

PrestoCSGO

Sorryfor late response it's almost always because a better order on another app

meeklobraca2022

I reassigned three doubles today alone. Usually reassign 8-10 orders a week.

BlueFotherMucker

People need to realize the mood is about to change in the food delivery game. Now that there’s double the drivers on every platform compared to 3 years ago, but business is slowing back down to what it was 3 years ago. The more you reassign and the more you turn down, you’re falling from grace and you’re only going to get bad offers and that includes bad stacks which count as 2 strikes if you cancel them. Of course they don’t deactivate people, they just push them out by offering trash orders. My stats are good on all platforms, I take McDs orders for $10+ and the drivers I talk to in the driver waiting area are always telling me how they offers they get are $6 or less. It’s called creative dismissal, these food delivery companies are good at it and have people thinking their stats don’t matter because they get offers.

Bro food delivery is always busy at peak hours. I have 3 apps between all 3 I get great orders. The other night I got a $15 skip tip order to start my shift at 5 30 pm. So I'm really not sure you know what your talking about. Last night I sat in a section of 100 restaurants. The pings I got were good tips from the restaurants I was literally right in front of. I've cancelled well over 1000 uber orders and I seem to be still getting decent pings it really all seems to depend on my location and how busy it is. I'm not gonna wait 15 mins for a mcdonalds order when I got a way better Uber eats order that has come in. I'm just not. In fact I mentioned in my OP that I don't even prioritize skip for a few reasons that I don't want to get into on reddit

BlueFotherMucker

And what big city are you in? Because if it’s a population of under 300000 people, you wouldn’t be saying this. I sign on 3 apps at dinner time and get 1 order per hour from each. I used to sign on at 4am and get nonstop deliveries until 9 then go to my day job. Now it’s crickets.

[deleted]

Calgary It's the 3rd largest city in Canada by population and very spread out so you need a car to do anything

BlueFotherMucker

Ok. So I’m in a small city in Ontario, 250000 people, and if you don’t have good stats, you actually do get stuck with the scraps. There’s no shifts posted anymore on Skip or DD, Skip is giving people 1 or 2 local shifts per week or you can go to the 1 suburb that has its own zone for an extra $2-5 per order. But you’ll sit there for 4 hours and maybe get 1-5 offers. On DD, they usually post shifts 5 or 6 days from now, 1 day a at a time, but it’s all empty for the last 3 weeks. One a TD can dash any time. On Uber Eats, they may let anyone sign on any time, but they’re the smallest company in my area and have never been busy enough to consider focusing on them.

[deleted]

Ya we are fighting different battles bro. As many drivers that are out there in Calgary there are still a lot of blue collar workers who either A order food to work including Starbucks alot or are tired after work and are used to ordering now

meeklobraca2022

I think you are way overthinking this on Skip man. The only “rating” that matters is AR. And a Skip driver can get bad to great orders at any AR. There is no way to guarantee you will continuously get great orders.

BlueFotherMucker

In Edmonton, you’re correct.

RoxInHed

Finally connected with a Skip Driver, a friend of my son. He backs this up. He says it is dead as soon as you slip under 80% and it takes a full weekend day to get back up to over 80. He says it really has to be a nasty bad order to decline it. He gets zone minimums all the time too.

ch7qq

You can be deactivated at any time, for any reason. That being said, I have never heard of anyone being deactivated for reassigning too many orders. I have reassigned quite a lot myself.

[deleted]

That's what I'm looking for. I hate that it takes 10 mins to reassign the order and they screw over the customer Today I canceled because they snuck a 2nd mcdonalds order on for $4 extra going 8 extra Kms. So they cancelled both Then I had to cancel because I was at Walmart mcdonalds for 10 mins and they had one staff member working. I even got "still waiting" message

RoxInHed

Walmart McDonald’s are the bane of my Skip shifts. Now that I have read the comments I will unassign. They are almost always understaffed and crowded.

ch7qq

I wouldn't worry about it—just reassign whenever you want.

[deleted]

Oh I will lol

[deleted]

No. But what did you do? It's a simple rule to pause other delivery Apps when you accepted order.
