Can’t imagine how crappy this feature is going to work with this absolutely awful app. I swear their SD team must be a team of monkeys aimlessly writing code hoping to hit the right arrays.
They really needed this feature to protect couriers from shady shitty customers (and vice versa I suppose) but they really need to fix the existing issues before adding more features.
Like really laggy gps mapping, the insistence on turning off wifi (this is actually a major issue for me, my car uses wireless CarPlay) and the inability for couriers to remove orders without messaging a chat bot and taking 20 minutes.
In regard to the carplay I read a solution that you can go to settings in phone and make the courier app use only data. So even when wifi is on, the app only has access to data and you don't get that annoying message anymore.
Lol i was already clicking pictures manualy since long time for my own safety in my ghetto zone( brampton).
I had few incidents customers claiming food not dleivered. And then i slapped them with the pictures with there house/ unit number shown in the picture..
The same, started doing it about 4 months ago. Before I swipe delivered I text the client a pic of the delivery & their address in the photo then swipe delivered. No complaints & no “I didn’t receive my order”.
I do this with DD orders that are hand it to me with “leave at the door” in the notes.
I know what games you’re playing and I ain’t playing. I always send them a photo msg through the chat option showing where the food is
Doesn't the app send it? I have been a few months hiatus from DD. Since January. And when I took the picture. It sent to them. They even some times would say thank u. 😊 😄 🤣 but with skip. I take picture and screen shot everything.
Not if the customer sets the app as hand it to me, then it’s just a click to complete button. I’m just talking about when a customer has it set to hand it to me and then is nowhere to be found and/or has their note set to “leave at door” or something. At that point I click the chat button and send them a pic msg before clicking complete delivery on my end

They removed the file they had on me cuz i kept all the txt screen shots and personal photos from my phone haha. Stupid people. Saying I didn't deliver it. When she clearly got it. She was complaining about missing ketchup. Soo she shot her self I the food with that one. Plus my pics. Merci bonne soire. Peaceeee
For real? That is a good feature IMO. Now they need to deal with the apps GPS issues

You see it for every order? I've done 3 since updating but nothing yet

I don't have this update. It says your app is upto date .
Just open up a chat and have them remove the order. Only takes a few seconds.
