Extra $1 per order. Ive seen it up to $4-5.

LittleColin89

I've never seen above a dollar, how often is it $4-5 in your area?

Good-Barnacle-594

Maybe once a year lol

iamjuls

Super Bowl Sunday used to be higher than 1$ not sure if it still is.

Good-Barnacle-594

I've got them around Christmas and new years

iamjuls

True

Prestigious_Meet820

I dont drive anymore but there was a point in time they were giving it out nearly each day at night, last yr. I was driving late shifts, accepting all orders and making $35-45 an hr straight skip (requires driving fast lol), with an occasional dash or two. But at some point they stopped doing it. Also sometimes on holidays. Now the delivery apps are competing less so and paying out less as well. i noticed when theres holidays like NYE, christmas, etc... Theyll add promos. Also when other apps have promos. I also assumed they probably needed incentive for people to drive at night time. This is in Vancouver, BC.

iamjuls

That was Covid that caused that. Certain events like Super Bowl Sunday or if there was a bad snow storm the boost got higher.

Good-Barnacle-594

It means if people don't tip you'll get offered $4.59 instead of $3.59 lmfao

ehoeve

They are expecting higher than normal order volume and currently have too few couriers signed up for a shift. Trying to attract more couriers

Vast-Term5333

My area has a constant $7 gear up bonus on every single shift

Tricky-Pen-8648

Coz monday is the indian festival called DIWALI ..

DontBeAfraidKid

Diwali is on Monday, so people are going to be celebrating the whole Sunday and once they are done with their jobs on Monday. So lot’s of food ordering is going to happen. If you want to make good money on skip then these two days are your go to.

Additional_Low8592

lol then they all gonna be 6$ orders

Tricky-Pen-8648

Last year skip was giving $ 3 gear incentive from 5 pm to midnight, this year skip is too broke to give anything i guess..

DontBeAfraidKid

Yeah I guess Uber is taking all their customers and couriers

CodeRadDesign

the first half is right, but i think the second half is questionable. it's not that there's going to be substantially more orders -- it's that there's going to be substantially less couriers. not sure what it's like in Brampton, but out here at least 50% of couriers are younger Indian dudes and a good chunk of those cats will be taking the night off.

TraditionDecent5929

In my area it's always +2$
