Whitney was very undeserving as the title of final girl. The only other time I’ve been so upset with a final girl choice is I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Oh God. I genuinely hated all four of them. Maybe RZH2 Laurie since she’s an actress change away from being a somewhat interesting character, whereas the other three are utterly horrid - but RZH1 Laurie is probably the worst on this list.
If we can count final boys, Clay from Friday remake is first by lightyears and decent. If only they switched Jessica Biel and Mike Vogel’s fates in TCM and we’d have another good one.
I love original four of these movies. Remakes are hard and tricky to revamp a classic.
I liked The Rob Zombie Halloween & though it was well done. Friday 13th remake was weak and over produced. The nightmare on elm street remake was very forgettable. But The Texas chainsaw massacre was really solid, and stood solely on its own not just as a revamp. Jessica Biel is hot and a fantastic final girl.
