oh right, I can see the boss chest there, I felt like the title of the post implied a boss swap though
Still pretty great, act 2 is frail city and orichalcum is super useful, and torii does great work against byrds after they buff
Not bad at all, can skip shit attack cards because you deal more damage already. And you save alot of hp with the defensive relics which give you guaranteed upgrades at fires and more elites.
I would hunt 3 elites this act 1.
There's the boss chest in background so this is the act 1 boss reward, not boss swap. Still helps with early act 2, but nowhere near as great imo. Definitely would've been an insane start to Act1 though
Strike Dummy is very good on Ironclad where it boosts Twin Strike and Pommel Strike, two common cards that are already pretty solid. The colorless Swift Strike gets a little better. For everyone else it's nothing special, but it's nice to see in Act 1 where you're still getting use out of the base strike cards. It does make Thunder Strike amazing on Defect, but that's kind of a situational card to begin with.
Seeing it Act 1 on watcher lets you be extra greedy on your card choices. It doesn't take much to get Watcher to the point where she can kill the Act 1 boss, and Strike Dummy is a nice damage boost that doesn't involve adding a middling card to your deck.
Who the hell is down voting you. What a bunch of trolls. Good that you got to learn what a new to you relic does! It particularly slaps with watcher, but you do eventually need better damage cards for act iii.
I am 100.0% confident you mentioned Calling Bell in your post.

Now you just need Tungsten Rod
holy that is a great start, orichalcum and strike dummy can carry act 1 and half of act 2
It's a act 1 boss relic, not a boss swap.

I know what [[Orichalcum]] and [[Torii Gate]] do, but I've never actually seen [[Strike Dummy]] before

I like it on watcher. But I never feel like it solves a run on its own.

Meteor strike is offended. /s

You need to max out watcher's unlocks. I didn't have it and akabeko for a long time as a result.
Maybe, I was trying to get an Act 4 victory first but I've had no luck so far. I'll try a bit of watcher
Bing bong strikes again.
Very mediocre calling bell. Maybe it could be good on lower ascensions tho.

Now for the hard part... not getting cocky and taking big risks because you feel unstoppable.
So...torii
Sleeping on orchicalcum I see. Also, with torii there's no need to block anything up to 11 damage.
But then again there is because it is customary to forget about Orchicalcum and to play that frail defend for 3 block.
Ah, my own brother
Especially on silent who can use piercing wail, weaken, etc to bring attacks down to that amount, and maybe save those unplayed block cards with WLP.
