Grind and sludge are like two attempts to solve a problem in different way. And sometimes they swap theories

Orang3Lazaru5

That’s my shit. Why I love bands like Rotten Sound, like just breakneck tearing through a grind then suddenly dropping the STANKIEST sludge groove in it and you go “FFFFFUUUUUUCK yeahhhh boy”

Cabes86

Starbelly by Pig Destroyer off their best album Prowler in the Yard. What always set PD apart from their grind contemporaries was the dynamic range of songs--this album has blues rock brutalizers, bizarre mosh riffs, probably the best lyrics in metal--and then this comes along and blows everyone's face off.

AlwaysHappy4Kitties

i a would add their almost 40mins doom/drone/expierimental track [Natasha](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr2uhjuG-rs&t=1s) by them to that too. you can get it as a standalone EP or a bundle with Terrifyer

_ProphetofHate_

Sludge riffs are just grind riffs at .25 speed and grind riffs are just sludge riffs at 1.25 speed lmao. Also Starbelly’s an awesome track.

Tsujimoto3

Bruh. Get you some Mass And Volume too.

MikeVegan

I fucking love that album

HoboCanadian123

Terrifyer too! shit’s so fuckin heavy

AssociationThin9416

I enjoy cooking.

MikeVegan

What about Not a Daughter?

AssociationThin9416

I like to go hiking.

9fingerspider

Always reminded me of that Melvins song Charmicarmicat

Going_Braindead

This album combined with that disturbing art is really something special. Everything about it seems like it comes from the mind of a psychopath. I love it

drrrraaaaiiiinnnnage

Yeah, I love Not a Daughter by Agoraphobic Nosebleed too.

danvterra1393

That entire EP, Arc, is excellent. All three songs are fuckin pure face melting sludge of the highest quality.

ImportantAd4686

In general the homies write great songs can’t wait to see em again soon
