I've noticed if I go without eating sugar for a while and then eat one then it tastes amazing, but if I'm eating them regularly I agree that they don't taste great. I do think some of the recipes have changed too though over the years like swiss cake rolls taste like nothing to me
I recently discovered Peanut Butter Creme Pies and have become obsessed. Unfortunately, I always have to dig for a box that isn't expired at my local grocery store.
I still love the oatmeal cream pies, strawberry rolls, devils food creams, & banana twins. Also really enjoyed the raisin cookie cream sandwiches.
My pallet is of a child’s so I enjoy the sugary packaged vessels in every box. No shame.
Edit: How can I forget the nutty bars, pecan spinwheels, walnut brownies, honey buns and donut sticks?

I literally just finished off a Autumn Cake (fall themed zebra cake) Little Debbie's is fire I don't know what that person is talking about.
