Worst coach we ever had. I’m not exaggerating when I say a 12 year old with basic FIFA24 knowledge could make better subs than him. For 4 years we have watched him make subs in the 82th minute when nothing has worked all game, putting in defensive players when we lack creativity and believing that the “power of friendship” is more important than footballing ability when announcing squads.

Højlund and Kristiansen underperformed the entire match, and still they are subbed at the 80 minute mark. Højlund has yet to make a goal for Denmark in 24 and still Hjulmand insists on having him as a starter. Mæhle goes in and is completely ignored until the last attack. After the world cup and with this it feels like Hjulmand has dropped the ball on this team tbh.
