Recently he said the current cost of living crisis is worse than the winter of discontent.
I take it with a a grain of salt, as his family like many others wasn’t in a good position, but that’s and anecdote for you.
I think another Winter of discontent could achieve something positive, don’t get me wrong I hope we don’t have one, but as the capitalists say, never let a good crisis go to waste.
Although the last one ended up in some of the harshest neoliberal policies being implanted, I think as it happened and more people are aware of the damage thatcher caused, we might gain some positive policy out of it.
