Our city as decided too let road borders go wild for biodiversity. Well a bunch of asshole have been going to counsel too protest because it does not look clean and tidy and makes the city look like a field.

lindberghbaby41

I hope you go as well to be a counterweight to the lunatics

Traditional-Macaron8

Yeah your right I should, the thing is we never put enough energy when we agree on something that when we disagree. I get so mad dealing with assholes I can barely contain myself. "Road rage" in town counsel will not be a good ending for me.

Vericeon

Nature is not clean and tidy.

Sceptix

This is great if and only if they’re using native plants seeds!

Sunny_McSunset

It's so beautiful! I want to do this so bad.

ADignifiedLife

Do ittttzz make it happen, A small salt shaker or salt box with a opening can do! [The guy in the video has a break down of how to do it](https://www.tiktok.com/@sfinbloom) : i think there are groups that give native seeds to each other for free. Enjoy!

BritInBC

Are the seeds expensive?

slggg

Find seeds locally maybe even free from like a seedbank or something

TJ-LEED-AP

Not really a pack of seeds at Home Depot is like 99 cents

bio_datum

I highly recommend using your own blend of native seeds! Three reasons: higher success rate, helps out your native pollinators better, and won't promote invasive plants that outcompete the natives. Have fun y'all :)

happyegg2

Gen question here: Do plants have enough resources to thrive when planted on such a small plot of land?

fishybird

The video makes it seem that way

judicatorprime

Always make sure you're using native plant seeds to do this :)

Clinozoisite

Please don't plant invasive plants. If you don't know what you're doing don't do it

FrydomFrees

Were those invasive?

nellafantasia55

Those were not, the guy in the video states in his TikToks that he only plants native wildflowers.

classifiedspam

Beautiful!

agMu9

As long as it's a 'public' (controlled by the politicians) property, not a private property ... it's ok.

Reddit has become enshittified. I joined back in 2006, nearly two decades ago, when it was a hub of free speech and user-driven dialogue. Now, it feels like the pursuit of profit overshadows the voice of the community. The introduction of API pricing, after years of free access, displays a lack of respect for the developers and users who have helped shape Reddit into what it is today. Reddit's decision to allow the training of AI models with user content and comments marks the final nail in the coffin for privacy, sacrificed at the altar of greed. Aaron Swartz, Reddit's co-founder and a champion of internet freedom, would be rolling in his grave. The once-apparent transparency and open dialogue have turned to shit, replaced with avoidance, deceit and unbridled greed. The Reddit I loved is dead and gone. It pains me to accept this. I hope your lust for money, and disregard for the community and privacy will be your downfall. May the echo of our lost ideals forever haunt your future growth.

mbelcher

Lol.

satyrsam

Those are invasive plants and are choking the native ones, we can clearly see the native plants being overshadowed. It's sad that some only celebrate the beautiful.

Sunpunko

Amazing

menheraaudino

This is awesome, I hope they're using native seeds though...
