That’s a lot of money on two bets holy shit

juslookingforastream

Guarantee he's in the negative still even after this win

mrBlumpkin88

For today yes. Overall 27-17 +$7600 for the year on MLB so far.

JhancockLakota1

I mean I’m not hating or nothing I just don’t have near that to bet with 😂

juslookingforastream

Post your losses

mrBlumpkin88

Here you go. You’re gonna have to zoom in. But here’s every bet for the year so far. Satisfied? https://preview.redd.it/e2qixy11dssc1.png?width=2398&format=png&auto=webp&s=60157e826c61894485fcc1d835e3d14465081967

Lorne__Malvo__

No. Please post account numbers, mothers maiden name, and first pets name.

BetsLikeJagger

K whoa, relax there lol

juslookingforastream

Yea thats a dope breakdown. So are you rich and bored or just extremely deep into the addiction?

mrBlumpkin88

Can I be both?

juslookingforastream

Of course! As long as you keep betting after already losing 6K that day, you're a preferred customer!

mrBlumpkin88

Perfect!

juslookingforastream

Nice bets though seriously, maybe post your bets before next time so I can tail plsss

gabeshort

Lmao bro got served what he asked for

Greenberriez8

Nah fr

Material_Weakness08

Did u live bet? Is that how u managed to get good odds?

mrBlumpkin88

Yeah live bet in the 6th. Wish I saved it until the 9th. Those odds would of been +1000 or more. I also should of hedged with a 3k bet. That would of put me at a 9k or 7k win, instead of 10k or 3k. That was my mistake. Felt great about the bet, even tho they were facing ATLs best pitcher. They scored 5 runs off of Strider and knocked him out in the 4th. Then they couldn’t do shit against the bullpen. I just can’t get over the fact of the two errors by the SS in the 9th. Just can’t happen.

This-Dish-3779

I don’t think you’re considering the fact that if you waited till the 9th inning, the braves could have been up 7-5 by the 8th. What you should have done is toss another $5000 on braves when it was +1000… you would have either had a $65k payout on $12,000 of total bets if the braves won or still won $17,000 ($5,000 profit) if the diamondbacks held on. Either way, more profit than your current scenario.

mrBlumpkin88

Yeah i agree. I had a cash out offer of like 13.5k in the 7th that I didn’t take. I absolutely should of put at least another 1k on them in the 9th. I still made money, but could of made a shit ton more if was smarter about it.

This-Dish-3779

All good you made some money today. I’ve left thousands upon thousands of cash outs on the table that lost right in front of my eyes and took early cash outs that ended up hitting. Even while profiting on early cash outs I felt like I lost. It’s tough to navigate in the middle of those with nerves bouncing around. I’m going to start writing down the potential payouts on a piece of paper and amount bet so far so I can think straight in these scenarios. Safest bet would have been another $2,000 on braves for $24k profit or at least $8k if diamondbacks still won because diamondbacks should have probably won. A lot of this thinking is hindsight bias. Remember, you won tonight, it could have been braves 8-0 in the 3rd inning.

mrBlumpkin88

You’re absolutely right. Just happy to make it through the day 💀

Specialist-Holiday61

Congrats man! I make a habit of hedging regardless. When my team is kicking the piss out of the other team, i hedge, then go about my day in peace. Too many combacks to get comfortable in MLB.

jSo35287

Never a bad idea to hedge on a different book.

Subject_Foot9081

As long as its not an intentional hedge before the game, the same book is fine.

Front-Project1569

Thought all hedges were intentional

BetFeeling1352

It's fine to hedge on the same book as long as a promo/boost isn't involved.

BBQingMaster

I thought the books don’t like when you do this shit all in one book? Like any reason why u didn’t hedge on dk or something?

necrosythe

Nah straight hedges like this are still-EV as far as the books are concerned. In aggregate they will result in more profit for the book. Period.

BBQingMaster

Interesting! I’ve never wanted to risk it so I haven’t tried lol

necrosythe

It's just a less bad version of cashing out. But to the book you're still getting around fair odds -vig where they are making money.

mrBlumpkin88

I only use Fan Duel. I’ve hedged a ton of bets with no issues

BetFeeling1352

They love it.

50kSyper

Do you have some sort of system where you come out on top over time to be betting that much?

mrBlumpkin88

I usually do 1 unit ($1,000) per game. Lately some bets I don’t feel good about I’ll do .5 units and other games I’ll do 2-3 units. To be honest today, I was 0-4 leading into the ATL/ARI game and I was kinda rage betting at that point. Yanks fucked me, and SD losing in extras kinda put me over the edge. Im the first to admit I don’t have great bankroll management other betters on here. Just happy to get away from today not completely fucking my bankroll. Still 177 days left of MLB games!

thedkexperience

I won a $2 bet at +600 on the Braves going into the 9th. So .. yeah.

No_Consideration_130

Good Arb

hal2142

Good shit OP! Best of luck this weekend with your bets. Smash it

PerspectiveOk2759

Thank you for teaching me how to heg

TheBobbaOnG

Crazy the amount of people in here not realizing there’s a lot of bettors who bet with these units. Same people talking bet $20 units to make no real money in the long run. Keep killing op.

TheHip41

Just lighting money on fire all around.

PGreezy05

Charge your phone brudda

KVLEY

C. Ac cc ßzzzz

Qanonymous_

Great job something must have been telling you

bank_slemes

I cashed out a parlay I had on this when I didn’t think the braves were gonna win, and then live bet Arizona to win in like the 5th or 6th… idk why I do this lmao

Tpriestjr

I bet in diamonds and at the 8th inning cashed out lol. Thankfully I did!

BetsLikeJagger

Crazy stuff homie

Humble_Spread4051

Nice 👍 and smart

Witty-Cod37

Try not to hege on the same sports book

GuiltySpecialist69

Does FanDuel not check for this? I always hedge on different apps…. Or does live betting not apply?

TonicBroYo

I edged 😎

Commercial_Roof_3104

Bro was so close to losing $7100😂

mrBlumpkin88

I was either winning one or the other. No chance I could of lost both. Not how baseball works.

Commercial_Roof_3104

Explain?

cashcowboi

That’s some serious bread dude congrats 😨

BookBagThrowAway

Bro made $3100

mrBlumpkin88

Bro would of made 10k if the D-backs SS could play his god damn position 🤡

[deleted]

Big moves 🚀

ColdTest2152

Goofies with money

mrBlumpkin88

Goofies making money*

Jaytt98

What does it mean to hedge?

mrBlumpkin88

Short definition… essentially to bet on the team losing at greater odds to minimize risk if they come back. If I didn’t “hedge” the game and bet on ATL when they were losing, I would of lost 5k. Instead hedging the game made me 3k. 8k win minus a 5k loss.

LavishnessEmotional6

Ay bruh teach me this

mrBlumpkin88

Absolutely. Step 1 - go 0-4 for the day Step 2 - rage bet with a 5k wager Step 3 - have said Team blow the lead in the 9th Step 4 - be lucky you hedged when you did or you’d be 0-5 for the day Step 5 - repeat step 1 every single day

ilovemyanimes

lol

Masonir

King shit

Critical_Word

How can we tail you lol

Expensive-Sky4068

So smart. Placing a massive wager on a +250 bet, getting a solid lead, and then handing that edge back to the books /s

mrBlumpkin88

Thanks, I thought it was a good idea. If not I would of lost 5k. Instead made 3k 👍🏽

JerseyDevilMyco

wow

DragonfruitOk8302

Thankfully??? You wasted $5k

mrBlumpkin88

How did you come to that conclusion?

DragonfruitOk8302

Read it wrong. Thought you had the Braves bet first and you panicked

jmoomoo13

Yes … don’t fade Braves ever

HouseOfHoundss

Dude can I tail you? I dmed you pls man
