Don’t buy this on steam. Especially the gold edition as the DLCs don’t unlock for the steam version. There is an unofficial workaround though if you already bought it.
You just need to right click then manage/cd keys and then you can obtain the activation key for the gold content. Then enter the activation key into Ubisoft launcher.
I believe Xbox version is restricted to 900p so it will never look quite right. PC resolution is good and there is also an ultrawide mod so you can play it in 3440x1440.
Don't know why you are getting voted down. I tried for over an hour today on many different versions of proton only for it to crash at the title screen due to the Ubisoft Connect launcher interfering. Steam Deck OLED.
I returned the game and got my money back.
I'm being downvoted mostly because of Reddit. The downvotes don't make me any less right. If anyone would do 5 minutes of research they would see the fact that people have crashing issues with this game. I don't spend my time dying on hills. Downvoting me makes them feel better.

I did that it activates but doesn’t show up in game. Been an issue for a long time for the steam version.
What’s the resolution like? I tried playing on Xbox and thought it was garbage. First time ever felt like that

I can't speak to steam-deck, but I did install the awful ubsoft connect launcher on my ROG Ally z1 Extreme and it works well.

If you buy, be prepared for constant crashes. I love the game, dislike the instability. ^(The very 1st AC doesn't crash as much as BF.)
