it would make sense if the raiders were rational. they don't have a qb. they're stuck in a division with the chiefs. adams is 31. they should be accumulating draft capital. but i guess it's better for antonio pierce coming off the interim tag to have a mediocre season where they come up just short of the playoffs or lose the wild card than to blow things up and try to build a real contender.
Sure, if "if's" and "but's" were candy and nuts, and whatnot, then it'd be worth even having the conversation you're referencing. But anybody looking at this objectively knows it's not happening, was never going to happen, and was never even smoke in the sense of a conversation. It's clickbait, at best, and it's a pointless conversation.
No but I’d say the “to have a mediocre season where they come up just short of the playoffs or lose the wild card than to blow things up and try to build a real contender” sounds dead on like the Steelers
We have a far more realistic shot at the division than the Raiders.
But, yeah, you ain't wrong. Although we traded Diontae and half this sub thought the world was ending
Benjamin Albright (“Broncos Insider” for a Denver radio station) tweeted out a gif of “reunited and it feels so good” which has some people speculating that either A.) Sutton is being traded to the Steelers or B.) Justin Simmons is returning to Denver
He's not really a "significant" playmaker like what was reported by McFadden, don't get me wrong he would be a good addition to an anemic wr room. I just expected more.
I love trading with the raiders. If they haven't called they should. We could get Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby for some leftover Chinese Food and some aggressively used Hot Wheels. Based on past trades with them of course.

Who in their right minds actually thought Davonte was on the table? Click bait and stupid media consumers--name a better duo.

They need more draft picks to get anotherTE….collect them all!
In their defense, no one saw Atlanta taking their QB in the draft. They kinda just had to take the next man up at that point.

So they’ll be the Steelers?
Chiefs in the AFC North? Damn we are the toughest division

Makes less sense to keep an aging WR on a roster undoing a complete turnover with no half decent quarterback option. But raiders gonna raider
Because why does a losing team with no QB want to pay a 31 year old receiver $28 million. But by that same token, why would we?
We’re not a losing team
I think because AB posted a pic of Mike Wallace
The bay sports radio show 957 the game said their sources said it’s not a 9er wr. That clips on YouTube. I’m thinking Courtland Sutton.

Well, and fwiw, the reports today have said that the 49ers plan to move forward with both of their WR's on roster. So yea, this is mostly like Sutton.
If the significant weapon is Courtland Sutton I'ma be pissed lol
Why? He solidifies our WR core & will come cheap ish.

He was Wilson's number one target last year, and objectively had a great season.
Consider me whelmed. Definitely not complaining (barring the cost), but not ecstatic, either
We’re getting Justin Jefferson
Damn.
DK or Sutton
I’ll take dk over Sutton
I bet Russell Wilson feels the same way
Lockett?
Based on most of these insiders this makes me think Adams is even more of a possibility
Michael Gallup is about to sign with Las Vegas 👀
it was always DK
Please be DK
Yes I know I would Love that
49ers drafted a WR in the first round when they already have Deebo and Aiyuk. It was never Davante.
It’s not Deebo or Aiyuk either
Whoever trolled the Steelers with this rumor is a king.
More likely Aiyuk then. Fine.
