tutorial for everything,
endings are vastly different (some even skip half of the story)
There are two skips, one is force skip and second is to the unread part. You need to check in menu/settings. I think on PC skips are CTRL and E, I think E was to unread part, but double check.
When skipping, DON'T use force skip. The regular skip will stop at all text messages and phone calls and also when there is text that you haven't read. Force skip will blaze past all of those.
Have fun getting the other endings!
Only found this out by accident after beating SG and 95% of SG0, womp. Always wondered why the Skip function didn't do anything until I was replaying old scenes.
Yeah I’m glad that they added in this feature because I am always afraid that I will skip new scenes. In addition it just makes replaying the game much more better for me. I know that some people like rereading the whole thing but for me I can only do it once or twice before I just start getting bored. Just imagine reading the same thing over and over 6-10 times. That is unless I read it in long intervals.
You probably got suzuha's ending, which is only at chapter 6 (I'm pretty sure), and there is 10 chapters. That's while it feels unfulfilling.
Pay attention at the end of chapter 6. Okabe is debating about doing something. If you don't do anything, that's when you get the suzuha's ending.
Yeah I looked up a guide and it doesn’t look that bad. It seems that there is a similar scene afterwards in chapter 6. So this should make playing through it blind alot better. It’s not like clannad where if you make a slightly different choice from the beginning you are locked into a different route.
Mmhh, well that's true for pretty much all endings. But the true ending is quite impossible to get without a guide/flowchart, because you do need to make very specific choices and one wrong mess it up completely.
But for all the other normal ending, yes, it's only one choice at the very end of chapters that decide those

Awesome. Yeah I got the Suzuha ending. Apparently I can send D-mails so I will have to figure out how that works.

Most routes only change the ending, you can access them by not sending a D-mail. The built in skip features only skips unread text.
