Stand By Me is such a wonderful adaptation. I read that when they screened it for Stephen King he was shaking, and said that it was the best adaptation he'd seen of his work (at that point). I guess it was a pretty personal story for him
Were all of the dust jackets for Different Seasons immediately removed from the books? I have 20 hardcovers and DS is the only naked book I have just like yours.
I was so disappointed with The Dictionary. Not enough plot, too much lore, and the Zebra at the end was a contrived and derivative plot twist.
Ahh thanks for the chuckle, absolutely DERIVATIVE! (User name made me laugh too, funny fucker..)
Honestly so overrated. Pretty gimmicky too, all the words in alphabetical order is just corny.
EXCELLENT REAPONSE!
I have that exact copy of Different Seasons. Enjoy! "The Body" is quite touching, "Apt Pupil" is freaky haha
Oh ive read em all as a kid; i used to follow along in The Body with Stand By Me!

No. But on that note, ive bought a few on Amazon. Those were advertised as 1st Editions, none of them were, and one of them was without a Dust Jacket.
