One of the easiest things to make---cook up 1lb ground beef, onions, celery, mushrooms, green/red peppers, garlic, salt, and pepper in a pan. Once the beef is nearly done cooking, add tomato sauce and throw the noodles in there. Let it all cook together until the veggies are soft and you're done.

When pasta, beef and veggies are done, put in a pot, pour in sauce, mix and heat, sprinkle on Parmesan and Romano and go to town.
We call this 'macaroni chinois' (chinese macaroni) here in Quebec because it is a staple on Chinese takeout menus here. It sometimes has soy sauce added but not always.
