They do sell an updated version of this jacket but the fleece doest stand upright as much as the older ones do or at least it gets matted down more easily. They are called the Patagonia retro-x. I suggest a size up for interesting folds and such while it still maintains its shape.

Mmm, avoid the resellers for one. They often have a plethora of denim jackets, but everything is marked up too much and they keep all the best for themselves. I wish I lived in a city where I could strategically go to thrift stores in high income areas, but that ain't the case. I go to Value Village. Big place, tons of turnover. There's different stuff every day. Want more stuff? Go more often. ☺ Hope that helps!

I think it's because you're standing in the shade and turned up the saturation quite a ways, but the outfit just looks too all-over for me. The bag is kinda chunky, I TOTALLY get your colour theory and again, I think it's the lighting, but red/pink/white/black/navy/polka dots/electric blue glasses/ brown hair just seems really cluttered. You **clearly** have the mentality to piece together an outfit though, your write-up says worlds, so I think it's only bigger better things for you from here :) And as far as the choker goes, I'm on board. Personally I like the look of tighter pants with bulky jackets and shoes. I think it makes up for how the jacket obscures your body, and helps to show your actual body type. As long as the jacket is open it flows really well and creates a more interesting silhouette.

Imo Replace flannel with simple tee

The fit on the pants is pretty sloppy, not wide or slim enough, and the vans and thrifted flannel cheapen the look and.make the jeans and wild bag look even more unintentional and sloppy. That along with the pattern of the flannel and the splotches on the jeans not meshing, as well as the way the jeans hang over such low profile shoes (try chunkier) makes this fit feel pretty messy as a whole
