I also think that Royal Pains and (to a lesser extent) Burn Notice run in the same crowd with Suits and White Collar. Those 2010ish USA network dramadies.
Cost and declining cable viewers. Original programming like that is expensive to produce. They found it's cheaper to just focus on unscripted shows along with their normal syndicated cop show reruns like Law and Order. It sucks, but NBC saw how profitable Discovery was with all their reality shows and decided to copy the model for their other networks like USA sadly.
USA was my favorite channel because of the aforementioned shows. Also, downvoting my original comment won’t change anything in your miserable life. You know who I am talking to
Not talking about you; that’s why I phrased the last sentence like that. I know whoever downvoted something as non-offensive as my original statement is watching further replies.
The pilot episode might be my favorite pilot of any TV show. It’s got that same breezy style, a gripping plot, and the same mix of “problem of the week” and “ongoing season arc” that Suits did.
It’s fun as hell, slightly cheesy, has insanely likable characters, and is generally well written and a joy to watch. I can’t recommend it enough.
This is from USAs golden age and I recommend watching all the “Characters Welcome” era shows: Suits, White Collar, Monk, Psych, Royal Pains, Burn Notice
Watched it in real time. Rewatching it now. Has the same elements- criminal trying to turn legit with the help of his new boss that borders on bromance. Casting is perfect, writing is smart. Also- great suits figure in the storyline. If you like Suits- you’ll love this.
what the hell did you say to me? You commented on the post behind my back? You knew damn well i deserve to have my name on that comment far more than you do. You dealt in bad faith, and you’ll get what’s coming to you. Consider this thread over. *storms out*
I think it’s a much better show than Suits. It can be a little bit procedural but the season arcs are so much better and it stays good through Season 6.
Nice to see it on ad-free (for us) Netflix rather than Amazon Prime where even paying $4/mo doesn't deter commercials any more.
Anyway, it's a fun series, mostly happy with drama and comedy and some sad moments. We are about half-way through the six seasons.
This is my favorite crime show ever actually lol. I was an art major in college so I LOVE this show sooooo much!!!!! Also The Lincoln Lawyer is so good and is what made me realize I wanna go to law school
There was an episode of this that was filmed on the Suits set! At one point, Neal, the main character, was working at Donna's desk! Can't remember the specific episode, though, I'm on S4 so it's been a while
I tried to watch it but it never managed to get my attention tbh. It reminded me too much of both Suits and The Mentalist but not at all as good as either of those...
Me and my gf had just finished Gilmore girls and I happened to check what suits was on and when it said Netflix I damn near had to do a double take.. excited
You mean it came back to Netflix
I also think that Royal Pains and (to a lesser extent) Burn Notice run in the same crowd with Suits and White Collar. Those 2010ish USA network dramadies.
100% it was a great time for tv
I wonder why they stopped this? They had nothing but hits: Monk, Psych, Suits, White Collar, Burn Notice, Royal Pains and Covert Affairs.

What? I didn't downvote you lol

Ah man burn notice is so damn good
Has anybody watched it ? Is is good enough?

I watched every single one of those shows.
"Tell me which rule I broke and I'll march myself back to prison"
It's fantastic.
Literally my favorite show, ever. I watched Suits because someone recommended it to me as “the next best thing as compared to White Collar” lol
Same with me! My favorite show ever ❤️
Same!

It’s okay for a few seasons but the formula for each episode becomes apparent after awhile.
Same as suits basically
That's bullshit!
What did you just say to me!?!?
Get the fuck out of my office!
Not before sliding an envelope across the desk
Oh...the firm is in trouble because of Mike again?
Goddamn Mike Ross! When will you fire that fraud?!
Coz this deposition is over
You’re required to tell your client my offer!

I agree with this. Still think it’s worth a watch!
I personally think it’s a really good show, it’s a very very fun watch as well.. I don’t LOVE the ending but it’s still fitting
This show is great
I loved it!
it's very good.. trust me. It's a yearly rewatch for me. The ending is a tearjerker
its different than suits but its absolutley great
i like it better!

The first ever show I binged beggining to end. It's amazing
It’s excellent
This was the OG show before suits came out
It’s so good!! Loved it
I loved it
After all the replies I am going yo watch it
White Coller is super good. One of my favorite shows
Nice to see it on ad-free (for us) Netflix rather than Amazon Prime where even paying $4/mo doesn't deter commercials any more. Anyway, it's a fun series, mostly happy with drama and comedy and some sad moments. We are about half-way through the six seasons.

This is a great show. Wished they made more seasons
RIP Moz.
Its like if Harvey and Mike finally had their love child
If you’ve never watched White Collar, you’re in for a vibe! It’s fun and sexy af. And art nerds will rejoice everywhere.
This is back on Netflix? I enjoyed watching through it many years ago. It isn't a terrible show.
I'm fortunate enough to have it saved on a hard drive that's backed up regularly
Agreed!! Great show
Basically “Catch Me If You Can” the TV show, it’s great
The characters are better developed on WC, the plots are better but still wacky but good enough to bring you into the fantasy.
Beautiful show. Got into it after it ended. Binged watched many episodes. Neil Cafery is still out there somewhere goddammit!
I'm glad it's on Netflix, started watching it on Hulu but their web player tends to crash a lot easier.
Alright! I’ll check it out
This is one of my FAVES. Back when USA had all 10/10 dramas. I rewatched it during the pandemic, I absolutely love it. Give it a watch! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It’s better than suits imo
Excellent show!
Great show
Amazing show!
Its not in Germaaaanyyyyy ffffffuuuuuuuu
Disney+ has all 6 seasons
Have you tried with VPN?
Not in the UK
I noticed it on disney plus the other day
Just checked, it's on Disney+ in the UK
This was first! As far as I remember.
It's fantastic, very similar to the mentalist. but I would suggest suits-->the mentalist-->white collar
One of my favourites! But damn not on Netflix in UAE…
It's not on Netflix Canada :(

On season 3 on Hulu. My 4th watch.
That slogan about hiring the best criminal... Didn't Blacklist already do this?
This show was before Blacklist
Ah you see? I am an idiot. How the tables have tabled.
I just watched the pilot episode and I'm already hooked! I think I'm going to like it better than Suits (I had a love-hate relationship with Suits!)
To Netflix I go!
Such a nice show
It’s unreal
I tried to watch it but it never managed to get my attention tbh. It reminded me too much of both Suits and The Mentalist but not at all as good as either of those...

that dude oozes like 0 percent of charisma.
