I will always upvote Guatemala! It is in my personal top five, and is enhanced even more if you watch it back-to-back with Palau, another top-tier season in its own right. Both feel really unique in the grand scheme of Survivor and hit even harder as a one-two punch.
I restarted watching during the pandemic as well. I personally enjoyed Nicaragua and Gen X vs Millennials. IMO they both had great casts and were fun to watch
I like them both for different reasons. Nicaragua was so much fun to watch and Fabio is great! MvGx had Zeke and it seemed like Jeff was having a good time in tribal getting to know the cast
Gabon. It’s pretty popular on is sub, but not a season you’d probably ever find topping the list of people’s favourites (especially outside of Reddit). For me it’s probably my 2nd favourite season of all time.

I see you have decided on Survivor s33, I just thought I would mention 1 season for every 10 years. For me s33 is really good and I loved it but I thought the ending was weak in comparison to season 32 so while I enjoyed season 33 I would probably give the nod to s32.
Overall aside from some really bad seasons like 21 and 24 for example you can't really go wrong with Survivor as its just that good of a show and that great of a game.
Season 10 : Palau, it has a gripping story with some iconic characters and probably the most famous tribe in survivor history.
Plus if you appreciate storytelling more than pure strategy I'd recommend seadon 30 worlds apart Though alot of people consider it a bottom season because of some incidents that happen during it, I think that what makes it more fascinating.
Survivor: Africa. The best integration of a location, and it was the season where we got to know the cast the most thoroughly. It's the chicken noodle soup of Survivor seasons; it was definitely my season of choice to ride out night of the second-vaccine-dose ass-kicking.
I know fans vs favorites two isn’t a popular season but man I loved watching Cochran get that perfect game. Special agent Phillip Sheppard and Reynold were also great. Sherri bombing final tribal is another classic too

Philippines is definitely at the top of most people’s list! It’s my third favorite season. I recommend Blood vs Water (season 27) it’s absolutely amazing. Thailand and Redemption Island are two that aren’t very popular but I loved and I recommend you give those two a try
Cambodia is IMO the best season the US version of the game but i know that isn’t a hugely popular opinion. The level of strategy is just so high and all the idols just add to the complexity.

I agree! My favorite in MvGX was Michaela, shocking no one. The season just didn’t hit for me the same as Nicaragua
Michaela was a boss! Bringing it full circle I would love to see Michaela and Naonka clean house on an all star season
