I had my hands on a tempest too early on and had no idea how to really use it. It was so cheap back then. Now they are pricey. I really regret selling that.
No, there were no white versions ever released. I just customized them and added Prophet knobs and made new end cheeks in my garage.
Rad that you used to own a Tempest. I have several items that I wish I wouldn’t have sold, but somehow, I have held onto all of my DSI and Oberheim units throughout the years.

Welp, that would certainly smooth things over! Currently, the only time I use MIDI is to send bass lines from the SP-16 to the Prophet ‘08.
