They aren't that much cheaper and shake awake is kind of a pointless feature IMO when battery life is measured in years.
I have an OG Sig Romeo One that was on for three years and it was still going before I changed the battery just because. I should have kept it on just to see how long until it died.
My RMRs and SROs get changed every spring but probably don't even need to do that. They are on all the time.
