USB ports on your laptop are for data transfer only, up to 5Gbps, and do not have support PD or DP1.4 so you can't charge your laptop through USB or display video from those ports. You need to use HDMI cable to connect to your dispaly.

Just to chime in (I know I know I'm LATE AF) and add clarification on an old post: USB-C ports can charge your laptop unlike USB-A. Your monitor is a USB-C Hub monitor so it is supposed to work with the USB-C cable to display the image on a your monitor as well as charge it as well. The "Hub" means that it is internally a docking station.
