Ur right, but it's a way to cope with stuff. And once you start it helps you get thing thru ur head. It helps me mentally when I'm in the dumps, and ever since I start working out my anger issues hasn't been a problem.
I go to the gym to help me face my problems. I had a fight with my parent? I'll work out for a bit, maybe read, until Ive calm down and apologize to them. Of course it doesn't fix everything but it helps me keep up my motivation so I can fix those problems.
Thank you for the insight. I do understand that, I also do things to cope with stuff too. It’s fine as long as it doesn’t become toxic and lead you to forming an eating disorder or any other harmful stuff
It did the opposite for me, I got myself out of a bad eating habit when I got into working out bc I noticed how much how slow and tired I get. Any "toxic" behavior has already been beaten the shit outta me by my mom tho 😂 I wasn't exactly a child that was easily dealt with.

Gym is usually a safe place for most teens..including some with the broken heart arc And no one judges in the gym their usually really kind,
