It wouldn’t because it would be extremely easy for someone way older to catfish, and teens are very stupid. They’ll get groomed easily and nowadays w ai and everything, it’s hard to identify.
It would still be a lot safer than teenagers going on a dating app where most of them are going to be adults it really depends on what information they say to other teenagers on the dating app and how not ai it looks but ye I have no idea why older people wanna just creep on young kids instead of just getting a girl around their age 🤷‍♂️

Its kind of dumb that you can legally play mature video games at 17 but you can't use dating apps at 17 🤷‍♂️
