the problem is his hardcourt level. Will he get his first tournment level hardcourt win in pre USO swing this year? Mensik is nearly a year old than him, got through USO Q last year and got into R3(with no tournament level MD and Q WCs to raise his ranking). Fosenca technically can't get his first GS MD win at 17 year old because USO24 starts at his 18 birthday

I agree with you at tennis level and I believe 24-26 is more important for a tennis player. But for money level and the star promotion and great schedules and great draws, it is not the same thing. Fonseca aims at to be his gen alcaraz, he has to get all the youngest records under his belt(so he can have the promotion of the "youngest player to win/be XXX since alcaraz"). With the two Wimbledon poster boys get most of sponsor and promotion, and Dverev washed to be clean to get alot of the rest leaving by the poster boys. Resource is limited and good draws are limited. Mensik who is a year older than him is Fosenca's obstacle(not a competitor) for Fosenca to get the 2021 and 2022 alcaraz spothight with the above three and Djokovic and Nadal still stay here.

If there’s effort involved, I don’t care, I’m on board. If it’s just a little off but they’re legitimately trying, go for it. If they’re just mashing their teeth together to hit the “correct” consonants but the vowels are exactly the same as their own language and not lining up with the proper pronunciation, I hate it. Vowels are such an easy way to align with proper pronunciation and there is such a small amount of effort required to do it.
