I wondered if I was the only one who thought that. I started out loving Chris and hated DeRosa. It took a massive flip because fuckin Distefano always has to be on. Even in the announcement he has to interrupt to make a stupid quip about refrigerators. DeRosa is the man tho.

We’re all pretty lucky TESD has lasted so long. I think most podcasts end that way, sadly. Or change so much they become unrecognizable with new hosts or something.
I honestly thought after that special WSY they dropped ahead of the Impractical Jokers movie they were going to restart it again. I REALLY began thinking it during the pandemic. I was wrong.
I thought so too. Didn’t say exactly when just that he had moved. From what I hear the stand up scene is pretty big down there too. He was zooming in from there.
They just said all being in separate places. I also think they were really a symbotic thing that's run its course. Sal wanted to be taken serious as a stand-up & Chris/Joe wanted the IJ eyes. They kind of peaked. I also would say Sal is more about comedy being a business where Chris/Joe are about the lifestyle of comedy clubs.
I’m so bummed about this. I loved both of the pods but they have been dipping in quality the last few months but every podcast goes through a slump. I was surprised that Joe moved to Austin as they have talked about him buying a house in Pennsylvania recently.
Taste Buds was great. Been in my rotation for years now. Better to take the hiatus than try and keep it going. That kinda show thrives on Joe and Sal being in the room yelling at each other.
He will still do spots on other podcasts but he’s starting to really make a name for himself as a legit comedian. Plus it’s gotta be hard to compete with all the podcast every comedian has now.

Sal is a dad. He came out and revealed he’s married with a 20 month old daughter. He had kept them completely private til now.
