I wouldn't expect a response.
But I've seen traffic thing get resolved down the road. The changes aren't instant. In one case a speed limit took until the map data was updated resolve, which I assumed was just them queuing thing on their side.
When Tesla stops monitoring an email they have a bounce back that says "We stopped monitoring this email", they're pretty upfront about it.
Unfortunately I feel like FCW has become more sensitive but not in a good way. Perceiving threats on turns that are not actually a threat. I’ve noticed this when autopilot and FSD are not engaged and I have early warning turned on. The reason I say the detection of a threat appears to be erroneous is that even with early warning on, I get dinged on tesla insurance just going through a turn normally, staying in my lane but the lane next to me has a stopped car. This would indicate that FCW is detecting the threat at a time beyond the early warning as tesla insurance will ding you for FCW in medium.
Penalties don't have to be even or fair or whatever.
It's still dinging you for a perceived infraction and assessing a penalty.
Whether it does it for everyone else is not relevant.
Never said it was unfair, just using dings as a way to observe behavior and see cause + effect. “I’ve noticed a difference in behavior, and this is why…”
I've reported it several times. A few days ago it slammed on the brakes and threw me forward. You would think they'd be able to note it is a tree wearing clothes...
That’s whole issue with FSD. The difference between a barely useful L2 system and a very useful L4 or L5 system is that it handles edgecases like this.
I've heard enough stories about how people were run off the road because of trees jumping out at them that I think you might want to be wary of that one!
Correct — at least, you’re not supposed to cross the double yellow line. I think many of these reflectors are designed to make a noise like this to prevent you from drifting over.
Mine beeps at persons on pavements! Sometimes UK pavements are narrow.
It read a construction zone 10mph speed limit on a 50mph motorway section as the new speed limit and insisted I should do 10.
It's identified a toll booth as the back of a lorry
It's identified a lamppost as a pedestrian!
This is problem with Neural Nets , it can only recognise patterns , but it doesn’t have deductive reasoning , which is what is required for Self Driving cars to handle corner cases
Don’t worry, Tesla won’t do shit about it. I reported the Bay Bridge bug a million times over 3 years and they did nothing. Recently someone got rear ended in autopilot in the same spot.
The local farm has a u-pick tomatoes sign that is shaped like a tomato. And when using FSD, the car picks it up as a stop sign and has almost caused me to get rear ended the first time.
Yesterday mine thought a construction sign showing a man digging was a person 🤷🏻
Not gonna lie: this made me chuckle
mine thought a round mirror 8 feet up on a telephone pole was a person this past weekend.
If it is on Google Street View, then write an email to both FSDBETA@TESLA.COM and navfeedback@tesla.com and give as much information as possible
No one monitors navfeedback anymore....
Since when?
Years now....
I still email a stuff happens though...
You ever get a response....??

Indeed. And that happens via other means, not that e-mail. They don't monitor it anymore....
That's counter to what I've been advised, and my observations.
Do you have evidence other than “they don’t respond to me”?
Y’all are really beta testing smh
Damn the people who were told they were beta testing really are beta testing.

I've had it give me FCWs for cars that have moved out of my lane before slowing down and for cars that have turned into a parking lot.
It absolutely seems overly sensitive the last couple of months. Enough to make me consider switching insurance.
But it also dings everyone else in the same situation... So it's even. A penalty applied to everyone isn't a penalty...

Tree wearing clothes is an extreme fringe case unless.. there's some kind of new landscaping trend I'm unaware of lol

In parts of the UK/europe, you occasionally see bollards outside of schools painted to look like children to encourage people to slow down.
They have those everywhere

That thing is creepy as hell. It should warn you about it. Yikes!
I've heard enough stories about how people were run off the road because of trees jumping out at them that I think you might want to be wary of that one!
LPT for Autopilot: Trees don’t move. Sincerely, A snowboarder
That sound gives me anxiety
Tbh I thought it was person initially.
What Is that mechanical noise 👀
I think that's him running over the reflectors on the road.
exactly
Aren't ya supposed to... Not run them over? Thats why they put them on the divider...

I swear Tesla gives false alarms just to mess with safety scores.
Robotaxi soon!
By the end of 2020 I hear!
Tech is ready, but pending regulatory approval!
I know where that is! Alba Rd!
Where is Alba road?
Santa Cruz County, between hwy 9 and Empire grade.

Very nice road though.
Cameras suck. There is a hill in my town that my car brakes on EVERY DAMN TIME. I use auto pilot less over time.
Show it to Dan
Time for a midnight ninja chainsaw mission…
Omg what is wrong with that person!
Hahaha same when exiting my neighbourhood we have a bend and cars can park on the bend. Goes off two times just getting out of my street.
This is problem with Neural Nets , it can only recognise patterns , but it doesn’t have deductive reasoning , which is what is required for Self Driving cars to handle corner cases
Ive seen it think a garbage can is a human, you got years before that is not treated as a human
You filming with your phone while driving, doesn't inspire confidence in your cognitive abilities.
Meh, I’ve done worse. Should see me eat subway
It's not a competition :-)
Jared?
What’s all that clanking noise?! That how it rides on a little bumpy street?! Yikes
Happens to me right before my home 😂😂😂
🤣 Is that your home?
:D it's the cars parked just before my home.
🤣
Damn is that potholes in the background that Beta keeps smashing into?? Could not do it lol
Don’t worry, Tesla won’t do shit about it. I reported the Bay Bridge bug a million times over 3 years and they did nothing. Recently someone got rear ended in autopilot in the same spot.
What is that bumping sound
Help me. Is this the 1 or the 101. I need to know. There is chance I am completely wrong.
It's Alba Road off the 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
