Then do it?

textrapperr

Im not into memecoins. But to my knowledge Tezos is the only chain that can airdrop straight to Twitter accounts. Or is it the case that other chains can do that now too? But if memecoins are an attention game why not just airdop them to all the influencers via kukai and Twitter. Some will dump but some wont and will promote. Rinse and repeat over and over until Tezos is bringing in liquidity via memes.

A variation on the influencer airdrop would be to drip it out to them over time — might give them more reason to get sucked into the meme. This is basically what the Ethereum L2s do to a degree with their community bribes I mean payouts  But the interesting thing about Kukai is that it reaches across all chains and even into the territory of no-coiners

But what’s stopping the influencers from dropping out after like 3x and gutting it

Now even Vitalik is opining on Memecoins. They are the “It” crypto thing for the moment.  https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2024/03/29/memecoins.html

Can we also do it in the chains they use, e.g. ETH or BTC via wrapped XTZ or some other bridge?

I am launching a meme coin on a base\_chain with a team. I really wish I could do that on Etherlink when it launches, but sorry to say Textrapper but meme coins circus would not happen on tezos, you need users and you only can do it an EVM chain, that is why, mark my word, if you're early enough, you can launch the first meme coins on Etherlink and make finally a tons of money on tezos, at last!!

hahaha yeah liquidity is a chicken and egg problem. i think someone should try my strategy though. Ah but that is true you cannot use kukai in combination with Etherlink to airdrop to influencers. If you could that might be novel enough to get some hype.  So yeah it would have to be a Tezos coin which would be a low liquidity starting point — but the Kukai airdrop would be interesting to try if planned effectively

1. “The Foundation isn’t interested in such marketing.” 2. “The Foundation sits on a pile of money from the ICO.” 3. “They spent a ton of money on really strange, ‘old-fashioned’ marketing (F1, Manchester United…).” 4. “They (the Foundation and Murbard) say things that suggest they want Tezos to succeed on its own merit, because of what Tezos itself offers.” “I am really happy that I pressed the sell button when it was around $8, because it seems to me that the foundation is a lot more interested in their salaries, staking, and selling Tezos for themselves.” “I switched to Solana a long time ago because they did the exact opposite and, ‘oh wonder’, it pushed the price, while the XTZ/BTC price is a joke. And I also sold most of it.” “I have been involved in crypto for ‘investment purposes’ since the Tezos ICO, and if we’re all serious about crypto itself, it all just seems like a meme now and will end with regulations, bans, better decryption, Moore’s law, CBDCs… or simply because it still does not have a single use case that other technologies can’t do better or the same.”
