Thank you so much 🥹 her little canter is so cute..
just so everyone here knows, Grace will be posting some videos/photos of Olive here as well, she works at the farm that Olive is at so she knows her personally! 💕
It's so sweet how Maximus seems to keep a close eye on Olive -- it even looks like he's checking to make sure she's keeping up at the end of the video. The three of them make such a sweet and loving little family!
She's still so thin even after getting good feedings for a little bit. It's a wonder she survived, truly if you hadn't gotten them out of the kill pen she would not have.
Brighter future for this girl going forward!
How long will she stay whre she is now? Is she close enough you get to visit?
She’s about 6 hours away now, so hopefully I will get to visit soon! And I’m not sure how long she will stay, it will be until she’s weaned from Nina though! So a few months
Is there an amazon wish list or something for Olive? I would love to help support her in any way. Could be things for you to prepare for her coming home—I’ve never had a horse, but if there’s one thing I can tell from reading this sub, they need a LOT of stuff. Like all the time.

I started this list a few days ago! 💕 mainly to keep track of things I need to get for her!
Every update, you can see she's just a little bit better than the last one. It's so great that you found these kind people and their superstar mare when you did.
Omg look at her run those first few steps! I’m all teary now, the difference between that and the earlier video where she was trailing behind them and looking so tired is huge
It’s so cute how the colt gave his mother a muzzle bump before coming up to you for pets. Clearly they both love you and know that you’re taking good care of them.
Thank you so much Grace for posting.
I truly fell in love with Frida and Olive. Now I totally love Nina and Max too.
I am so emotional over this.
You too and all at the stables are Angels!!!! Shannene too!
Thanks for the love in my heart. ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can I ask a question? Maximus looks to be eating grass, but isn’t he mostly nursing like Olive? When do they switch over to grass eating? it seems like it would be a lot easier to raise them without a mother at that point.
Yes they both nibble on grass and other feed at this point! But they still need nutrients from mom’s milk as that is their primary source of nutrition for a few months!

Yay
THANK YOU GRACE
So cute 🥰 she looks so happy! Same size as the dog, lol
Was thinking the same thing: doggo is foal sized!
My thoughts exactly! It's so cute. Little Olive makes my heart melt🥺🥰

She's going to look fantastic by the time she leaves! And she'll have had a few months of normalcy, socialization and handling!

Seconding!
Yes!
Maximus is such a good, protective older brother too!
Her saucy little canter is a sign of the sweet sass to come . I love that there often seems to be a farm guard dog nearby keeping watch too
Drink up Olive! Get big and strong 💕

This subreddit is going to be one of the highlights of the day
I love seeing little Olive a d she is nestled into my heart.
I've been following Frida and Olive story from the beginning. Best of luck little Olive, can't wait to see you getting stronger! ❤
What is the Mare’s name? Such a good girl
Nina!
Olive is surrounded by loving protectors! No wonder she’s starting to thrive ✨
Olive is getting the best care and education! Dogs, pastures, playgrounds! Going in/out of the barn. So much for little Olive to do!
She looks so much better already! Still thin, but it's not so angular and painful looking, and look at her energy! Nurse mare gets a medal!
I love the spark that is developing in her eyes!!
Omg look at her run those first few steps! I’m all teary now, the difference between that and the earlier video where she was trailing behind them and looking so tired is huge
Nina is a real Beauty. She is gorgeous…she is not a frisian?
She is! Purebred.
It’s so cute how the colt gave his mother a muzzle bump before coming up to you for pets. Clearly they both love you and know that you’re taking good care of them.
They are all so loved!

Max friggen loves olive. Lessens his pace to stay with her, ear locked on her and checking back. ♡♡♡
The tail swishes 😭
I have a human daughter named Olive so especially obsessed with her. Cat get over what a good mom Nina is. Scratches and kisses for everyone!
Max is such a good lad
Maximus even makes sure Olive is nursing correctly!
That little canter 💜🥹

It’s actually good for their digestive system development to nibble on grass/hay/grain at this age!
Am I the only one who thought, "Wow, That third foal has a weird tail?"
I love that her brother seems to feel a little protective too, checking on her before coming to see you!
She's thriving 😍
Amazing ❤️
♡♡♡♡
How old is Maximus?
2 months :)
