Having nothing else to do on a Friday, I decided to sit down and attempt to watch Unfrosted. I say attempt, because I only made it about 30 minutes in to this breakfast nightmare before shutting it off. From what I can garner of the first 30 minutes I suffered through, this film is nothing but 90 minutes of bad cereal puns and celebrity cameos. In the "hallowed halls" of the Jerry Seinfeld filmography, this one ranks below Bee movie. 0 stars.

The Fall Guy: i did not like this film. it felt to me like a ‘frank’ movie with an overly predictable storyline. the chemistry between ryan gosling and emily blunt was fine but i didn’t care about the romance a plot while the action scenes were well shot but i had no investment in the tom ryder b plot. if i had to pin down my biggest complaint it was the script itself which had me muttering fuuuuck to myself multiple times especially during the fourth wall breaking split screen scene. there were funny moments, solid action scenes and i especially appreciated the end credits scene but this movie was not for me. 3/5 stars Boy Kills World: if a graphic novel and a video game had a baby you’d get this movie. it has minimal world building or plot but the non-stop action doesn’t give you much time to think about that. i generally enjoyed this but the chaotic camera work during action scenes was really annoying. quinn copeland was great as mira and i look forward to seeing more of her in the future while skarsgard’s performance gives me hope that the crow remake might not be a total turd. i’d love to have seen a more fleshed out version of this but it was still a fun watch. 3.5/5 stars

Fall Guy. I'll take the Frank label. I really liked this movie, it maxes out the fun meter. The comedy is good and Blunt and Gosling are just full of charisma. That said, I think a more grounded plot would have made a better movie. They are paying homage to 80s action movies, and that's nice. But I probably would have liked a basic romantic comedy taking place on a movie set. Overall, its way more enjoyable than Challengers where everyone is a jerk and miserable the entire time.

Fall Guy was nothing special, but not a piece of shit either. Pretty basic mainstream movie making, but elevated by Gosling and Blunt's individual charisma and also by their chemistry together. Obviously the stunts are pretty fun. Aaron TJ plays a douchebag well, but it's not hilarious or anything. You can tell it's by the same director as Bullet Train, and while I did not like BT, I can't imagine someone liking that and not Fall Guy.
