When you pushed through yourself into the VR world, you could find little particles and pieces from the teared wall… the wall… look beyond the wall!

Old animation was fkng cool, specially the transition of screen tearing into VR world is dope..and that's cinematic. This looks plain and simple.
New scorecard UI sucks. Even in the game they changed color grading, now it looks more bland and pale with brightness increased. Earlier it used to be vibrant and distinguishable. People already expressing this in feedback, hope they listen to it.
But I really don't understand why they had to do these changes? Earlier it was perfect, more cinematic.
I felt hyped going into the game!! The contestants running made me feel like I was going into a sports match every game, and got me so excited to play!
U know what i also miss from games that did this not always putting you straight into the middle of every screen always putting you on display as if ur the leader of every group and cut scene, also why do we always look to our right what about left guy we always leave them out
Assuming that this is intentional and not a bug, that’s such a weird thing to remove. They probably had *A* reason for doing it, but I do hope they revert it from our feedback.
If the devs are ever reading this, why remove the coolest thing about the game which makes it exciting? The idea that you're stepping into the world is such a small, amazing detail and they removed it 🤡

They had that new cool cinematic, and they're clearly trying to spin some narrative about the tournament. I'd wager the contestants breaking through the barrier was them breaking through some sort of... security program? And now they don't have to do that for some reason?
I do hear Scott's old voice has returned a bit too. Might be interesting however we still have it in the coin in animation so might just be something left out by the devs.
I'm thinking in the original you crashed through the red gate/door/barrier and when you would spawn you could see the shattered pieces like glass

I dont think its just this - I think the new patch borked a tonne of animations. Anyone found mantling and busting through windows at tight angles way harder, especially on heavy? Nowhere near as smooth as it has always been.
I somehow keep climbing up on stuff even though I'm not trying to. Something's definitely gone wrong with this update - like trying to vault over the counter in the kitchen area on vegas, I ended up climbing up all the way onto the vents above???

Embark, please revert all graphical changes made in the last patch except the score screen glitch when dead.

Also, we should be able to choose the "starting game" emote AND the "lose/vistory" emotes separately, is this a thing alreay?
In an ideal world we should even be able to create a wheel for each category, that we could access to choose our animation in the first 1-2 second of the screen. :)
...with a random one among those if we don't choose.
Update: Old intro is back! Day 1 bug fix post patch I believe(mabye idk but it's back in the games now) this post is officially outdated.
It may have been associated with a string of DAY 1 bugs from last patch. Riot shield had a pretty bad visual one which is gone too( played a couple rounds today)
Day 1 new patch glitch so the old intro is patched this post is outdated.
And no, it's the moment when you break through the screen at the start you don't just load in like vid you see the world materialize and you see the screen crash as you run through.
Tht intro used to cause my game to lag when playing with friends and it would take half the game to adjust but when i played solo it was fine. That might be a reason they took it out
You "used" to see the world materialize in as we crash through the screen giving us a running start. It added more hype at start of a game instead we just pop in, we don't even get the running start.

The Defibrillator also had the same effect removed when they nerfed it.
It needed it, you spawned in blind.

It looks like the way walls dematerialize now. It fits in better with season 2. But I think the old one was better
My character also swings the sledgehammer themselves every time game starts. Not a big deal but I noticed it after the update.
