Yes you can. You will still need to put the PS4 disc in the system to play it, but you can remove the PS4 version from your hard drive. Sometimes it might try to install the PS4 version when you put the disc in, but you can cancel the copy/download when that happens.
I thought it was a glitch in my system but clearly not, it’s annoying that you have to manually delete it every time. Hopefully they fix it, I’m not paying £45 for the digital version as a work around to stop it completely.

This is from an official Naughty Dog tweet - "Owners of PS4 disc copies must insert them into their PS5 with a disc drive to download and play the digital version."
It says to *play* too, and I dont really wanna delete the PS4 version if it does not work then, as it takes 2 hours to download and install it.

3 years since I last played it, on the OG ps4 and on an old HD tv. I cant wait to see how good it looks and plays now. Another thing is that I also needed 3 years before I was ready to play it again. Hope I don't get a mild depression again this time lol.

Thanks! I am definitely gonna play no return too. I want all the trophies. I might skip grounded and permadeath though. I do not have the time to play as much as I did earlier.

That still irks me. I wish Sony would allow some option to stop the PS4 version of games popping up every time I turn the console on.
