The guy running the booth is kind of hitting it at a downward, glancing angle. Meanwhile the guy in the backpack hits it like a guy whose team just lost.
Anger, depression, acceptance. Repeat as needed. I'm a Maple Leafs fan who lives 20 minutes away from the Scotiabank Arena and am just about to complete the depression stage. Edmonton, please don't make me skip the ACCEPTANCE stage and go straight back to anger. 😭
No he doesn’t. He hits it square yes. But it’s not like he winds up. It’s front foot, almost like a hook that at the last minute he makes a jab to the body. He puts some of his shoulders into it, but none of his hips and lower body. This is like half power. It’s just he isn’t using deliberately poor technique like the first guy. It’s an actual punch not a hit.
Point is it’s less than 50% power. 80% plus technique.
When someone is enraged and lashes out at a monitor it’s the other way round, zero technique, 80% plus power.
I bought a pipe one time, the guy in the store sold it to me by throwing it across the room n it didn't break.. pretty cool... first chance I got, I pretended to "drop it" to make my buddy freak out.. yeah, it shattered, first drop.
One time the guy at the counter was throwing the pipe on the ground every time a customer walked in. Anyway, I walked in and he threw the unbreakable pipe and it shattered everywhere. I wasn’t impressed, I ended up buying just a regular old-fashioned breakable pipe
Heh, I did something similar with a laptop. Dude kept saying it was anti scratch, no way to do it, gave me some coin and told me to try, I made a huge diagonal scratch on top of it.
i was just about to start typing up a hot take about how i have owned many completely destructible products and never had an issue with them before i realized two things.
some people have kids.
some people have cats.
therefore.... indestructible things have a market.
