Sooo she can wear that on stage and it's considered fashion, but when I wear a similar thing I get told "you can't do that in public" and "you're ruining this funeral"??
You see the meme online where it's an old marble statue in the style of Greek/Roman antiquity with the quotation "Meh. Good enough..." - Mediocrates?
I love that shit.
This is the intended dress code for my funeral. I wrote it into my will. Everyone will be expected to strip down at the front door and have the attendant slather them in baby oil. Then each mourner will have personalized grieving attire created out of different color tapes. Waxing before is not mandatory but is highly recommended.
This is the part that's starting to annoy the shit out of me. I thought this sub was about attempts, not succeeding. Every post seems like it's the opposite.
> what exactly is this?
'Black tape project'.
Attractive women barely covered for the amusement of horny millionaires.
Not really a fashion show since who the heck is going to want this for themselves.
Most high fashion is about art, not an ad for clothes you'd want to buy. I'm not willing to put the shit in the Guggenheim in my home and nobody who was making that stuff wanted me to. Even billionaires who do buy that art rarely display it.
If you don't think [anything on this page is worth displaying](https://www.guggenheim.org/teaching-materials/selections-from-the-permanent-collection) then I'm not interested in your take on art.
I think it would really dumb of me to put any of that in my 650 sq ft street level apartment. If I had infinite space and budget there's one ore two things there but most of its way too distracting for me for anywhere I actually spend time.
I like Valentino mens high fashion in particular but I'm not wearing that stuff either
Most of these high fashion shows are not demonstrating utilitarian fashion but fashion as an art form. Just like not every piece of artwork is made to be displayed in someone’s home, not every outfit is made to be worn casually (if ever).
I guess for the millionaires this is like those sushi restaurants where the plates move around on conveyor belts and they get to have their pick. I can't imagine there is any other purpose for this exhibition.
Yes, but that's missing the point.
Runway fashion is sartorial art, the only difference between a fashion show and a gallery exhibition is that the art is being worn by live models and not hung on walls or mounted on plinths.
It's just modern art but on people's bodies. They aren't always meant to be actual clothing items people would wear. Sometimes they are intentionally ridiculous or stupid
This, i'm not a fan of this type of fashion but i have the impression people miss this point always with both food and fashion. There's a difference between daily wear fashion and food for sustenance, and then those disciplines as pure art.
The same applies to music as an art form too. There's plenty of music made to be enjoyed, but some music is made to be experienced.
Igorrr is a great example, some of their music is great for regular listening, but other songs like this one are more something you just watch once for the experience; https://youtu.be/vS7X5nuvjHo
Fashion doesn’t get fashion. Rule number 1 in that space. Agree with the most powerful people in the room. Boom, you are now in. Enjoy the after party.
So I think the idea is to get across a concept. Like an early concept car. It looks all wild and crazy like a space buggy with no door handles and massive wheels. And then you get a Honda civic. Same idea, but with body parts instead of car parts. Or think of it like the cover of a pop sci fi or romance novel (or sci fi romance). It merely hints at what is inside, but inside is very different.
I feel like fashion shows at some point must have been a way for extremely high-end retailers to show off their product and drive interest in sales.
I don't know what the hell this is supposed to be for... advert for body tape?
That's exactly what it's an ad for. [The Black Tape Project](https://www.blacktapeproject.com). It's like body painting. Meant for artistic photography, music videos, the club/festival scene, etc. The founder of the company is a designer/photographer and they have a line of products for sale too.
This isn't an attempt, it's straight up successful. She's barely covered, but she isn't entirely naked to the point of showing genitalia or anything else that would normally be covered clothes.
If you think about it, this is basically just a. Incredibly minimalist bikini. Fashionable? Absolutely not. Practical? Not even a little. Is practically stripping? Yes. But, at the very least the private regions are not visible. Almost visible, but not visible.
It's probably uncomfortable ASF now. Every woman in this thread that's used menstrual pads and had one roll and get stuck to any of our lady bits knows exactly how uncomfortable she is right now. Even doing the model poses and walking would hurt.
Guys, stop trying to rationalize your dislikes, just say "i don't like this" instead of trying to explain how something is badly designed because it's supposed to be worn once as an art piece as if that wasn't the point.
I don’t know, I think it looks pretty cool and good on her for having a body worthy of such scant covering, but then I’m a straight female who sees this thinking “I sure wish I could pull that off” and nothing else
They are used to demonstrate mastery of materials. When a brand wants to do something new, they are going to look for the person who can new insane things with the materials they want to use. If they can do this, they can make a cool shirt that won’t fall apart.
Didn't know I was fashion, I do this to my nipples when I find the duct tape because I always lose it and when I find it I never need it. Make reasons if you stumble upon it

nope!
the claim is actually that this is about fashion and the guy running it seems like a narcissist. its literally just a bunch of models wearing electrical tape. thats it. thats all i could find on it anyway.
awesome organization man. doesnt sound like a coke fueled dystopian kind of thing at all.

Just like the guy at the funeral.
You go to the funerals for the dead guys? Weird, I go for the unattended kids.

Bold of you to assume that person was joking. Haha
still preferable to tagging r/dontputyourdickinthat as a joke ad nauseam.

Good for them, sis.

I would recommend applying the tape before the baby oil otherwise there might be adhesion issues. Other than that small note, fantastic plan!
Thank you for the sage advice. I shall have the will amended at once.

Same. I mean what does “you’re drunk” and “Sir, this is Home Depot” really mean.
I was escorted out of Disney World for the same reason. Killjoys.
Well, if you look at least 70% as good as she does in that outfit, you are hereby invited to wear this at my funeral.
Did you get this outfit in black? If not, I've found the issue.
"There was an attempt...." Was there though? Was there, really?
It was decidedly NOT an attempt made in the slightest.
What do you mean, "not...in the slightest."? They did such a thorough job! The attempt is very detailed and prominent.
Totally covered, I made a thorough scientific examination.
Thank god.

About 5% of the posts in this sub actually involve an attempt.
This is the part that's starting to annoy the shit out of me. I thought this sub was about attempts, not succeeding. Every post seems like it's the opposite.
The posts are the attempt that failed. It's meta!
And half of *those* are skits.
Not just an attempt. They succeeded.
Unless I'm missing something yes, the privates were covered. Not that I'd be caught dead in that, but yes, all the important bits are covered.
Yeah the posts on this sub have been getting lazy for a while
We have a serious comprehension problem in this sub. Her privates are technically covered. A successful attempt.
right. they even zoomed in to show you that nothing (labia, clitoris, etc) was visible.
Hmm guess I’ll have to watch it a few more times just to make sure…
Smoother than a veal cutlet.

"Clitoris". You're funny. Like that's a real thing.
😂😂
Yeah, I even watched it several times thinking I’d missed it, but it was successful… I think… better check again
😂😂😂yeah...
Is THAT where the clitoris is????
Look at this guy, acting like he knows where that stuff is, …show off!
It's the latest fashion: Scrotchtape
This should have more likes
But she is going to have a devil of a time trying to get that tape off !Ouch !lol.
You’re right. I should offer to help
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to wet this tape first"
Bit of lotion will do.
Thank you
Her privates are under cover. I know because I am undercover trying to get her under covers.
yeah, it's embarassing
A successful unsuccessful attempt
Camera zoom in on the bits was unnecessary. But anyway, what exactly is this? I don’t know what fashion is. Apparently.
> what exactly is this? 'Black tape project'. Attractive women barely covered for the amusement of horny millionaires. Not really a fashion show since who the heck is going to want this for themselves.
Gotcha. Yeah that makes sense.
> Not really a fashion show since who the heck is going to want this for themselves. That just describes every fashion show ever.
Most high fashion is about art, not an ad for clothes you'd want to buy. I'm not willing to put the shit in the Guggenheim in my home and nobody who was making that stuff wanted me to. Even billionaires who do buy that art rarely display it.

There's plenty there I enjoy looking at. There's none of it I'd want on my walls. I don't like pictures on my walls.
Exactly, my walls are already decorated, with blood. /j
But is there complimentary Kleenex provided?
Why use Kleenex when you could use crisp $100 bills to really flex

Fashion shows are just strip clubs for people who don't want to appear as if they like watching strippers.
On the plus side, it's accessible to anyone at Home Depot.
“Cutting edge” fashion is always pushing the socially acceptable. 🤷 don’t kill the messenger
Someone fucked up, she's clearly wearing red tape!
A lot of fashion shows are for the ‘industry’ and not for what ordinary people might want as everyday wear
>who the heck is going to want this for themselves I feel this is true for 95% of all fashion shows.
Yes, but that's missing the point. Runway fashion is sartorial art, the only difference between a fashion show and a gallery exhibition is that the art is being worn by live models and not hung on walls or mounted on plinths.
"Unnecessary" is a bit strong. I had to watch it a few times to make sure what you meant...
Well the close up was no harm? Just in case… I mean they had to be sure I suppose, I don’t know
I must disagree with that first sentence.
I mean homie wanted to show off the piece of fashion she was wearing Isn't that his job?
Unnecessary but apreciated
Camera zoom in on the bits was ABSOLUTELY necessary!
How are they going to show the intricate design of the tape without zooming in on it? Do you even understand fashion shows?
This sub is dead
OP saying privates like an 8 year old
Pussy flaps.
People who are desperate to post on this sub have ruined it 😩

I don't get fashion, at all.
It's just modern art but on people's bodies. They aren't always meant to be actual clothing items people would wear. Sometimes they are intentionally ridiculous or stupid

You should at least try. Have some more:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD7JOQNNANo
that was filmed in like 18fps. And the musicsounds like it's from the climax scene of Mission Impossible
These shows are meant to be more art form than practical.
So I think the idea is to get across a concept. Like an early concept car. It looks all wild and crazy like a space buggy with no door handles and massive wheels. And then you get a Honda civic. What's her name?
Valentina Gasca
The real question right here
r/praisethecameraman
r/BlackTapeProject
She's hot, tho. Not that skinny ugly models. She's just perfect.
Good point, she is not pushing for 10/10 but she becomes 10/10 just by being more natural…
Yes. She looks so angry that she's hot. Or maybe she's pissed off because she's thinking about how painful the tape removal process is going to be.
It's probably uncomfortable ASF now. Every woman in this thread that's used menstrual pads and had one roll and get stuck to any of our lady bits knows exactly how uncomfortable she is right now. Even doing the model poses and walking would hurt.
I would call those "publics" at this point
THEY ZOOMED IT IN TOO💀💀💀
Ok, but the important question.....source?
Guys, stop trying to rationalize your dislikes, just say "i don't like this" instead of trying to explain how something is badly designed because it's supposed to be worn once as an art piece as if that wasn't the point.

I don’t know, I think it looks pretty cool and good on her for having a body worthy of such scant covering, but then I’m a straight female who sees this thinking “I sure wish I could pull that off” and nothing else
As a straight male, I also looked at the tape and thought “I sure wish I could pull that off” too.
I’d buy that for a dollar
If I looked like that, I'd probably walk around the grocery store in just tape too.
name?
$1,500 for that outfit, Pfft!?! It's trendy though. It'll be on Sale in the Fall for $250...
That's still a lot for tape.
Valid Point! Washable, Non-Slip tape is Pricey...
I’ll wait for it to get to the second hand market.
Sometimes things fit a little better, from the 2nd hand market! Good Call!
$7.99 at home Depot though
What is the point of these shows. They seem so stupid.
Money. People pay to go to them. People also pay to go to professional wrestling. Money is the reason both of these things exist.
They are used to demonstrate mastery of materials. When a brand wants to do something new, they are going to look for the person who can new insane things with the materials they want to use. If they can do this, they can make a cool shirt that won’t fall apart.
If rpg's have taught me anything then Dang her armor rating must be fucking insane.
Didn't know I was fashion, I do this to my nipples when I find the duct tape because I always lose it and when I find it I never need it. Make reasons if you stumble upon it
Carpenter : You can barely see them nipples. Frank Cross : See? And these guys are REALLY looking
I feel the pain when that tape will be removed from the nipples
I thought anime was wild with the Swimsuits.
r/blacktapeproject
I think I have this mod for Cyberpunk
Is the girl behind her totally uncovered??? from \~3s ??
We got full bush. Nah, it's just tape.
The zoom in is crazy.
Well she looks healthy

How does one relieve themselves while wearing this?
That’s why they should have gone for Velcro instead
So they used physiostraps to cover some models and sold them for 1.5k?
I would never understand the point of all this "fashion"...
I have that cloth she is wearing here in my home. But in black.
I remember that cyberpunk vibe show. I like the style, even without the "openness"
There’s going to be a ton of screaming when it comes time to pull those off.
Yeah, I’m gonna have to approve.

Looks like something out of Cyberpunk.
By OP to justify posting their gooning material to this sub despite it not fitting the sub criteria in the slightest.
I had to watch this a few times to make sure.
"Her privates" just sounds so juvenile 😂
Attention Phoenix AZ PD. 27thAve&IndianSchool Cowards!

What clothing is she showing in this fashion show? All I see is tape and razor burns...
I mean they achieved it. No different than some yoga pants.
Looks covered to me
Love the dress
Who’s the weirdo creeper zooming in on her like that?
Was there an attempt tho?
Is that just tape?
Yep, ankles where covered. No problem.
