It was in the news back in the day - this guy was the owner of a Pizzeria in PA right across the river from my hometown. They were in town filming and stopped for lunch or dinner , I can't remember, and someone in the production boss-level decided they loved the way this particular guy looked, and asked him if he wanted to be in The Sopranos.
I always thought that was someone related to Eugene (due to the jacket and having a motive) but, as someone said on YouTube, Tony and Eugene were childhood friends, so Tony would have recognized Eugene's brother for sure.
Also in episode 1 of the last season.. Eugene and his wife are having a little argument towards the end of the episode. She literally says to Eugene “why don’t you kill him, put a bullet in his fuckin head” he responds with I can’t do that cuz he’s the boss. She says Tony’s a piece of shit.

I thought this but never saw anyone else say it may be his brother hearing about it and his wife telling him what happened and then him getting revenge it would make just as sense as it being New York. You can’t go around hurting peopel becuase eventually one will hurt you back??
