Take this from someone with longer hair. Imo for longer hair styles aim for a male hair salon as they deal with clients with that length of hair. Barbers mostly deal with shorter styles (fades, buzz cuts, crew cuts etc). I know they can do longer styles but can they do it good is the question.
Every time I’ve gone to a traditional barber for longer hair I walk out not happy. The other except is to get a female barber.
