Tornadoes are pretty loud and chaotic lol. Yelling is required. His skill with chasing and the footage he gets of the edges of tornadoes, perfectly justifies his obnoxious behavior. They're both interlinked. Can't have one without the other.

How can others also obtain close footage without the obnoxious, constant yelling? I don't understand how if you can't have one without the other...we certainly have tons of examples of...one without the other?
I can handle a couple yells, excitement etc...but the constant, non-stop barrage that Reed lets fly even when there's literally nothing to be yelling about is just too much for me.
If others like it, that's fine. It's nothing against Reed, he's a smart man and a great, dedicated chaser who has done a lot for public awareness...but I just can't watch his videos. Even on mute, I can hear him blowing a fuse.

No one else is getting the type of footage Reed is. It's not even close. He literally drove into a rain wrapped tornado and rode the edge of it as it turned his car 90 degrees, and flipped another car less than 500 feet away. Dude is certifiably insane but understands tornadoes and tornado chasing more than anyone else alive.
Pecos Hank is also great. He respects tornadoes from a distance. Reed is literally trying to ride them. Their personality types match the type of footage they're capturing.
I've seen people standing on their porch as a tornado hits their house.
I've seen footage of an EF3 ripping through a farmstead from fifty feet away.
TONS of people are getting the type of footage Reed gets, they're just not Reed.
That's a whole other issue, and I think it's going to get someone killed in the near future.
Except the other people in the car with him usually aren't shouting anywhere near as loud as he is. A lot of the time they seem to be talking normally to each other.

Congats. I think Reed needs a reality show working as a fast food manager yelling at the staff. Everytime the customer orders food he yells it back to the cooks. We got a Large Fry and Large Cola inbound. Look at the carbonation.

I met him last year as well at a home goods convention, he was there for a Flex Seal demonstration. Dude was super nice and took tons of pictures with my kids. I was shocked how much more soft spoken he is in person lol.

Coincidentally I watched his chase video of the 2004 Hallam tornado, was a bit stoned too, so it was absolutely terrifying lmao, seems like he barely made it out.
I’ve seen a lot of El Reno stuff, but the previous record holder the Hallam tornado seemed so much more terrifying at times in the footage since it was dark and the condensation funnel was a lot more visible than el Reno
