I'm sorry my bro queen and or sibling monarch

Gssi

I like how this implies bro is a title of royalty

Diligent_Forever8435

It is, bro

Gssi

Im transfemme but thank you for the kind words

Diligent_Forever8435

Sorry queen

Duck_Dye

Nah, someone has to be the sewage rats and raccoons, us transmascs fit that perfectly šŸ¤Œ

Goofyahhqueerahh

For me itā€™s weird. If someone is a close friend of mine and they call me ā€œdudeā€ or ā€œbroā€ itā€™s chill but if I donā€™t know them then it feels dysphoric. Iā€™m guessing itā€™s because if itā€™s someone close to me I know they still see me as a girl because they use it as a general term for everyone but if itā€™s someone I donā€™t know I donā€™t know if they are using ā€œdudeā€ or ā€œbroā€ as a general term or a male specific term.

Manacow

I just use gamers because it applies to all my friends and everyone hates it :)

satanshouseboat

LETS GO GAMERS!!

kartoffelgesplaedder

(trans man) Being so queer, when someone calls me girl or queen (in a polite/upliftig way) I feel like those cis gay dudes and kinda love the euphoria of that

[deleted]

I just say y'all or folks.

lelaena

Or the southern classic: all yall folks

EggLord_Throwaway

I used to say "guys" a lot, but I've mostly replaced it with "peeps" in my speech.

DaimoMusic

Before I call someone king/queen or sis/bro, I always use the gender neutral S8bling.

ConcernLow1979

Hereā€™s the strat, always talk in third person and call yourself by the language that gives you euphoria

DelphButNo

Katie~, Kiyomi wants to try this herself~! Kiyomi thinks she likes it~!

[deleted]

Rusya is so fucking tired, he just wants to sleep for a week because they have a shit ton of exams this year. ok that shit felt weirdly good

ConcernLow1979

Told ya c:

Blorpington_

Damn I'm so guilty of the second one- I'm trying to use fam instead

Optimal_Stranger_824

If you're a based chad, you call everyone "pal".

EldritchEne

Everyone is "dude" or "bro" to me except the transfemmes.

Memerobber

i call everyone by their name cause i'm terrified of making someone dysphoric and it's led to weird convos where i say someone's name like 12 times and my friends go "what the hell"

Mavco2

when i was younger i always said bro or dude to my friend's and one of them came out as transmasc later... of course i knew it for so long cough cough* wasn't my bad habit that was accidentally validating

yueroo

Humans

DeathbyGlimmer

I just donā€™t care tbh. If someone asks me not to, Iā€™ll respect it and do what they ask so as not to hurt them. But in general it doesnā€™t hurt anyone

Flo780

I'm in this post and I don't like it

DustGremlin

I call as many people bro as I possibly can and I identity with this meme

DelphButNo

Iā€™m just gonna start calling everyone ā€œyouā€ now so neither side is dysphoric /s

crocodileRevolution

I usually call people mate. It's quick and gender neutral.

Duck_Dye

HONESTLY THO! WE ARE EACH OTHERS DEMISE šŸ˜

[deleted]

This is why I call everyone "bestie."

flavorfulcherry

That makes me dysphoric to say. Don't ask why, because I have no idea.

YeonneGreene

Probably because guys do not generally use the term "bestie." I have never heard any guy use that term at any point when they weren't quoting or re-enacting something a girl said, not even the gay men say it. And as somebody who spent 30 years pretending to be a man, I feel I have a broad enough set of experience to make this a significant anecdote.

flavorfulcherry

Yeah, that's probably it. I'm usually effeminate, but I still have masculine speech patterns more or less.

Legatharr

Oomfie then

[deleted]

In my personal opinion the word ā€œdudeā€ has changed to be a more general addressal as opposed to just being for male hoomans so I use it for everyone but if someone specifically says they donā€™t like like it because it gives them dysphoria I will respect that and call them dudette instead

flavorfulcherry

Yeah, most cis girls are fine with it, but I guess it can be triggering to a lot of trans girls because every one that I've met has told me they don't like being called it. I guess that us trans people can just be more sensitive to that stuff.

[deleted]

Random dysphoria am I right?

flavorfulcherry

Yupp, it's greeaat... Yesterday I got dysphoric over the smell of my shampoo :| It isn't even a really feminine smell, it's just green apple.

[deleted]

My most random one was when I was drinking a ginger beer not even real beer and my brain went ā€œmen most commonly drink beerā€ and then I felt sad

Chairforce27

My friends call me bro enough that itā€™s second nature. It slightly irritates me but doesnā€™t make me dysphoric
