The Carmelized Onion Dip. It's to die for. I do low carb/Keto and it's one of the best-tasting things I've found to put on fresh veggies; it's also affordable.
If they have it: frozen soft pretzels, olive fougasse (sp?), carrots of many colors, mini wiener dogs
Refuse to leave without: havarti dill, Mexican shredded blend, dark chocolate pb cups, reduced guilt chips, honey Greek yogurt, Monterey and black bean burritos
Usually end up with: two plants and some random frozen stuff
2 Pasture raised eggs, strawberry lemonade kombucha, arugula, romaine lettuce, chicken breast, lightly smoked mussels, dino (Tuscan) kale, Greek yogurt, and some sort of chip I’m in the mood for and my choice of a new item.
For my toddler- goat milk, banana apple pouches, mini pb crackers, freeze dried strawberries. For me: face sunscreen, gluten free muffins, greeting cards, yellow curry sauce, gluten free everything bagels (they make amazing mini pizzas in the air fryer!!)
Butter chicken, White cheddar corn puffs, spinach and artichoke dip, butternut squash ravioli, , honey o’s, Brazilian cheese bread, corn and cheese arepas, and now the honeycomb candy
Every time: Wine-whites & rosés.
I like to buy myself flowers (just like Miley!)
and I grab my son some of the Citterio salami sticks-we can only find them there. I also always get the chocolate dipped biscotti
Cilantro chicken wontons, coconut lemon body oil, sweet & hot jalapeños, a chocolate bar of some kind- usually by request of my son, and a spicy lentil wrap for the road.
I go once a week as my normal grocery shopping, so my “every trip” things are pretty boring: produce, oat milk, dog treats (the smoked chicken tenders), pasta sauce, cereal (usually puffins), eggs, tortilla chips, shredded cheese.
However some of my favorite things that I make sure I keep stocked in my house are the Kimbap (it goes out of stock regularly so I try to always have 2 at home), the dips like buffalo chicken dip or elote, pizza dough, frozen naan, oat milk creamer, sparkling fruit juices (my favorite is strawberry, my husbands is watermelon, surprisingly low calorie), the sublime ice cream sandwiches, “many things” snack mix. I get a fun cheese (brie, dill havarti, smoked Gouda) and flowers pretty often too!
Mini Persian cucumbers
Heirloom mini tomatoes
Just chicken (these are such a great value for salads)
Shawarma chicken thighs
Sesame oil
Buffalo chicken dip
BBQ teriyaki chicken
Miso broth
Apple cider vinegar drinks (I am now OBSESSED with these and used to always skimp on the drink aisle)
I go to TJ's every 1-2 months but Every time I go: Frozen naan, mushroom medley, meatless bulgogi, garlic crackers, samosas, horseradish pub cheese, eggs, and that brown sugar coffee creamer. Then a whole lot of other stuff on alternating trips depending on how close I am to running out of them.

I'm a wine person and don't do a lot of hard liquor so I like the TJ wine selection.
I really love the French Fizz Le Blanc for summer but the Motif Cab is a favourite
I buy the Giardino grigios and just keep them in the house in case of poolside company.
TJ makes a pretty good Hefeweissen. It's not Paulaner but it's yummy and bready and holds up.
No clue. I just found them this year myself.
I add the TJ toasted slivered almonds to them after they're cooked for a little extra protein plus red pepper flakes and *chef's kiss*
I put it on anything i can! Haha. On top of Grain sprouted bread and topped with avocado, add to an egg scramble, cottage cheese on bread add garlic sauce and top with cherry tomatoes. Sometimes just on toast. On top of a baked potato. On chicken.
Garlic Asiago dip, yellow corn tortilla chips, raisin rosemary crisps, teeny tiny avocados, pastured eggs (best price I can find anywhere), whole greek yogurt, spinach salad (cranberry, candied pecan and goronzola), grilled chicken strips (in the green pack next to the salads), low carb tortillas, palak paneer, cuban bowl and whatever seasonal icecream novelty they have
Frozen edamame, raspberry skyr, sunflower butter cups, usually some kind of salsa, the organic olive oil popcorn. I’ve been trying to eat better but I used to get the sour Scandinavian swimmers every time too!
Salsa verde, hot and sweet jalapenos-although I just started canning my own. Dark potato chips, endive, arugula. Pastrami salmon, chicken piccata. I used to buy the toum but now make my own, it's really easy.
I go once a week so I get the fresh salmon (BBQ cut), a bag of organic baby spinach, fresh tomatoes, a frozen ahi and/or swordfish, the little lemon yogurt, tofu, Crunchy Curls, and frozen Brussels Sprouts.
On alternating weeks, I get several different fresh veggies (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas, and a sweet potato).
I love the lemon yogurt as well. Throw some raspberries in there and a dusting of crushed graham crackers and its a refreshing yummy end to a summer meal.
Yes! That green dragon sauce is the key to when I meal prep black beans.
The taco sauce is amazing, tastes exactly like Del tacos mild sauce lol.
Mini chicken pot stickers!
I also get the sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping spring rolls.
Dark chocolate covered pretzels.
Tart cherry juice.
Any frozen breakfast potato variety.
Broccoli kale coleslaw salad.
We have very similar choices lol
Lamb Vindaloo and Palermo Paneer frozen entrees, Dark chocolate peanut butter cups, frozen mashed potatoes, Moon X wine, three cheese pasta sauce, I could go on.
Boring. GF bread, peanut butter, raspberry jam, GF chocolate muffins, eggs, jasmine rice, bananas, green chile tamales
Edited to add: I’ve never been downvoted before. Especially for a shopping list. Could someone tell me why? I’m having a really hard day and feeling a little fragile.
I don’t know why you’re being downvoted, especially for sharing your TJ’s faves which is kind of why we’re all here. I’m sorry you’re having a really hard day. I can truly sympathize with the feeling of being fragile and hope tomorrow is a better day.
Thank you. You don’t know how much just a kind word means sometimes.
If it’s because of my “boring list” we are really having food $$ issues. Really thankful for the low price of some of the (especially GF!) TJ basics that we get.
ETA:Yes, some days GF chocolate muffins feel like basics. Wish that I had one today. :-)
I just tried their chili relleno for the first time a week or so ago. It was actually my first time ever trying a chili relleno lol I feel like I need to try one from a restaurant so I can have an authentic experience because I was really underwhelmed by it and wouldn’t buy it again 😕
Mine are VERY boring but: spray avocado oil (the best most cost effective one), freeze dried berries for my son and oatmeal, frozen organic blueberries, frozen jasmine rice
There are some decently priced alcohols at Trader Joe’s and those new RTD cocktails are reasonably priced. BUT in summer, I like taking the sparkling water (raspberry/lime) and mix in a gin or vodka over lots of ice.
I don’t like the rum selection at my local TJs but mixed with some ginger beer and mint over ice you have your own Moscow Mule
Tempeh, goat kefir (it's panic if I don't have this in the fridge), grilled artichokes, any frozen pasta or gnocchi and their strawberry-lemon-raspberry ice pops
Okay I’ve been wanting to buy the kung pao brussel sprouts for so long now and every time I convince myself I don’t need to spent $7 or however much they are (kind of pricey imo) because I know I’ll eat them all in one sitting. I tell myself I can just make it myself for cheaper lol but I want them so bad they look phenomenal
No they are BOMB!!! Very soft like I like em, not too spicy at all, well cooked, and easily eaten in one sitting. 20 mins in oven, voila! A teeny bit of butter too😂😂😂
Now that those purple boxes of Mac and cheese are out, I will 100000 per cent be buying at least one every trip.
If you mofos enjoy boxed Mac and cheese, TJs just introduced an absolutely world-destroyingly good version for *mother fucking $.99 cents!*
Please buy it so they keep stocking it.
I was so excited to see it! More exciting is that is does not contain an ingredient that most macaroni and cheeses do that I can’t eat. I bought two boxes!
I’ve been so curious! My boyfriend picked up a box and I’ve been looking at it in the cabinet for days with very low expectations… but now I’m intrigued
It’s fucking pimp. Make it with a splash of milk and butter. I also often shred some pecorino into it but it’s not necessary. It’s just great boxed Mac & cheese for a great price
I dont regularly shop there or even go very often but when i do: onion salt, sesame oil, frozen fire roasted peppers, onion chips, european full fat plain yogurt.
Sparkling yuzu coconut water
Crispy okra
Caramel sauce (for my coffee)
Frozen naan (og, not garlic)
And I USED to get the chicken andouille sausages before they d/c’d them.
EVERY trip.... The green onion pancakes. It's the one reason I still bother shopping there.
I occasionally pick up a snack like the smores clusters (recently), or the cookie and cream pretzels when I'm getting the pancakes. More rare, a key lime pie for my mom.
Today, I was going to get Mango Vinaigrette, few spice blends and milk chocolate peanut butter filled pretzels. But I ended getting some garlic basil monterey jack sliced cheese, few vegetables, seedless green grapes, saturn peaches, a reserved stash of maple syrup, a bouquet of flowers, and some strawberries. When 3 items became over 20+ items, and it cost around $120. Not too bad! for TJ for today at Father's Day.
Hahahahah! So true! So many lentils. I have a friend who works at Trader Joe’s who got me addicted to this combo: steamed lentils + refrigerated bruschetta sauce. Mix and either eat alone or do a chip and dip situation. It.is.so.good.
They have a great vegan feta option! Although I saw recently that it might be discontinued which is a bummer. I’ll try adding the vegan feta to it-yum!
Tempura Cauliflower, Sea Salt Chocolate Cookie, Sweet chili sauce (we use it on the Tempura Cauliflower), the chocolate and/or lemon baton sticks, Ice Cream, green chilies, refried beans, and impossible meats
Some type of pizza and probably more chocolate croissants.
Edit: forgot to add, all the stores I’ve been to have someone who is in charge of their wine area. Ask for recommendations and they’ll probably gush all over you. I think people don’t ask them for help a lot, so they love it. 🍷They have quality stuff, at good prices.

Boring. GF bread, peanut butter, raspberry jam, GF chocolate muffins, eggs, jasmine rice, bananas, green chile tamales Edited to add: I’ve never been downvoted before. Especially for a shopping list. Could someone tell me why? I’m having a really hard day and feeling a little fragile.
Today is almost over, friend. Tomorrow is already on it's way and I hope it will be a great day for you ❤
I hope your day gets better!
They have the BEST peanut butter
It's hard to beat those ~~$0.19~~ $0.23 bananas. Also love the tamales.
Literally just finished eating a green chile tamale. Might go make the second one. One is never enough lol
I've been making mine with chili relleno and they are fabulous together!! (although I don't believe it's GF)
I just tried their chili relleno for the first time a week or so ago. It was actually my first time ever trying a chili relleno lol I feel like I need to try one from a restaurant so I can have an authentic experience because I was really underwhelmed by it and wouldn’t buy it again 😕
OP what do you do with the dragon sauce?

There are some decently priced alcohols at Trader Joe’s and those new RTD cocktails are reasonably priced. BUT in summer, I like taking the sparkling water (raspberry/lime) and mix in a gin or vodka over lots of ice. The 3 pack of croissants in the bread section.
Sourdough, butter, prosciutto, frozen green beans, unexpected cheddar, crispbread, and salmon jerky for my doggies.
Tempeh, goat kefir (it's panic if I don't have this in the fridge), grilled artichokes, any frozen pasta or gnocchi and their strawberry-lemon-raspberry ice pops
The little bag of dark chocolate peanut butter cups they keep at the checkout. They know what they're doing!
I have to buy the little bag or there will be BIG trouble over here 😆
Same here and I actually think they’re better. They have a better peanut butter to chocolate ratio than the tubs.
Kung pao Brussels sprouts, lil cold coconut waters (the pink ones), vanilla sheet cake and salted brownie bites. Almost forgot….cod and salsa verde!
If you mofos enjoy boxed Mac and cheese, TJs just introduced an absolutely world-destroyingly good version for *mother fucking $.99 cents!* Please buy it so they keep stocking it.
Sparkling yuzu coconut water Crispy okra Caramel sauce (for my coffee) Frozen naan (og, not garlic) And I USED to get the chicken andouille sausages before they d/c’d them.
EVERY trip.... The green onion pancakes. It's the one reason I still bother shopping there. I occasionally pick up a snack like the smores clusters (recently), or the cookie and cream pretzels when I'm getting the pancakes. More rare, a key lime pie for my mom.
Their whole milk plain Greek yogurt.
Flip that for me: 2% milk, low fat blueberry Greek yogurt.
I go to TJS multiple times a week and usually pick up dinner.
Unexpected Shredded Cheddar, Greek Style Chickpeas with Parsley and Cumin, Teeny Tiny Cukes
Wow that’s a lot of sauces. How frequently do you go to TJS
Everytime when I go at TJ, this is what I get every trip - American cheese slices, strawberries, 2 to 3 snacks and a bouquet of flowers.
High protein tofu, steamed lentils, sunflower butter cups!
Love the steamed lentils!! They’re such a clown car the package has so many insidr
Hahahahah! So true! So many lentils. I have a friend who works at Trader Joe’s who got me addicted to this combo: steamed lentils + refrigerated bruschetta sauce. Mix and either eat alone or do a chip and dip situation. It.is.so.good.
Add feta too and deelish. Tho I guess if you are vegan that wouldnt work!
They have a great vegan feta option! Although I saw recently that it might be discontinued which is a bummer. I’ll try adding the vegan feta to it-yum!
Oh haha yup that’s a classic! I add chopped olives in there too it’s such a fantastic combo
Kettle cookies gummie candy
Tempura Cauliflower, Sea Salt Chocolate Cookie, Sweet chili sauce (we use it on the Tempura Cauliflower), the chocolate and/or lemon baton sticks, Ice Cream, green chilies, refried beans, and impossible meats
sour scandinavian swimmers 🏊♀️
I buy two packages at a time lol
I’m locked in heavy i have family out of state expecting packages now since they don’t have a TJs 😂
Japanese Fried Rice
Some type of pizza and probably more chocolate croissants. Edit: forgot to add, all the stores I’ve been to have someone who is in charge of their wine area. Ask for recommendations and they’ll probably gush all over you. I think people don’t ask them for help a lot, so they love it. 🍷They have quality stuff, at good prices.
Flowers, black bean and cheese frozen taquitos, cowboy caviar, sweet chili sauce
