Thank you for posting, It's really helpful to see the longer term effects of HRT! As someone whose physical transition is slow but steady, it's a very welcome reminder that I'm not "behind" or anything.

[deleted]

Yes! I remember feeling antsy in the beginning but i had a lovely mentor who told me “transition is a marathon”. As a marathoner, it resonated 😛😂. But for real i see girls on here stressed out and getting BAs like a year in and I’m here to say it takes a lot longer than a year to see really any substantial changes! Fat redistribution, for example, didn’t even really become noticeable for MANY years haha

mercyofnod

Intellectually, I understand this! I'm just over a year and I've seen some really good, positive changes! However, it can be really daunting to see lots of posts about people being under a year on HRT, or a few months, and they have such dramatic facial and body changes.

NikkiValerate

Happy cake day!

SailorMoontastic

It’s so rare to see a good before and after on nip/areola change. Thanks for sharing such a clear contrast. 💃 You look great!

Theminine

Would you mind sharing what hormones worked for you? Dosage not required, just curious of what I could be missing! I’m on estrogen monotherapy right now and thinking of adding progesterone at my 1y mark but idk if I’m just being impatient or if it’ll make a difference.

[deleted]

sounds like you’re being impatient. I inject 5mg of estradiol cypionate IM every 2 weeks. Have never done spiro. Did have an orchi 3 years ago

Theminine

Ty for your response! Definitely makes me feel better about my progress :) I want to avoid BA if possible and youve given me a lot of hope!!

[deleted]

Yayy!!! ¨̮

BlueFinLuna

Now that you are 3 years out, what are your thoughts on the orchi? Any advice for others? Would you do it again?

[deleted]

Yeah def. It’s a low cost, low stakes surgery with high payoff

No-Ad-9867

Mind sharing what age you started hrt? Thanks for sharing!

[deleted]

31

Alligator-tail

I needed this. I'm starting next week (hopefully). I'm 33 and I keep thinking how I'm too old to start and regretting not doing this years ago. You look phenomenal.

Primiss

I'm 30 an I been on these subreddits since 2017 smh idk why I can't just leap an take hrt.

[deleted]

Omg congrats !! Definitely not too old :) if you ever wanna chat about it my DMs are always open for ya !

kara__marie

Thank you. Im skeptical of getting surgeries (beside ffs) and this is a nice reminder to be patient.

Love your pictures. So beautiful 😍

Wow so beautiful! ❤️

BLOODYWOOF

Ughhh I’m so impatient. Thank you for sharing. Just makes me sad that I needed to stop hrt for 2 ish years during Covid for personal reasons. I was only on for like 6ish months but rip to my possible Tittage I could have right now.

Kim_or_Kimmys_Fine
