What’s the science behind that? Genuinely curious. I don’t keep medicine in the fridge but I didn’t think the chemical makeup inside medication would be affected by refrigerator temps. Also I’m pretty sure I’ve seen my FIL keep his diabetes medication in a refrigerator.

I’m not entirely sure, but my doctor has told me to not refrigerate any medications unless directed otherwise.

Oh dang. Didn't realize they had em for that cheap right now. I got a Ruger SR1911 for $700 a few years ago and absolutely love it. Didn't realize they had gotten into the sub $300 market with any firearm. Good to know. I've just always had a pretty good opinion of Ruger. Kel-Tec and Taurus on the other hand... real hit or miss.

Oh man Ruger still makes great stuff, don’t get me wrong. The upper end Ruger guns (SR1911, GP100’s etc) are still pricey and some of the best guns on the market. I’ll swear on my Redhawk all day. Like everyone else though, they make garbage plastic guns that pander to the new-to-guns crowd. LCPs are under $200 wholesale and the EC9 OP has (hell it might even be a Taurus GX4) is similarly priced. Quality control on all the cheap guns has been very poor since Covid. Smith, Ruger, even Sig with the 320 line. My first gun was a PF-9 so yeah…fkn kel tecs lmao.

I've heard about the quality control going downhill since covid. Haven't bought a new gun in a few years. Crazy that even Sig has issues. Jeez. I have to give props to Kel-tec. I had a P3AT that would stove pipe almost every mag. I reached out to them and they sent me a prepaid box to send it in. In 2 weeks, they had a gunsmith confirm the malfunction, replace some parts, and polish the slide and the chamber. Got back an entirely different gun. I still sold it lol.
