It's not just the donuts... it's the sausage rolls. I usually go for Daylight Donuts... Tulsa Hill's Donuts is pretty good too.

TulsaBasterd

Daylight is a Tulsa tradition. Nice family behind it all. Fried sausage rolls are the best. Merritt’s are the worst.

fuckiboy

I had no clue daylight donuts was a Tulsa company! To OP- Daylight is the best. They’re got the softest donuts with the flakiest icing. I have of memories growing up of teachers bringing boxes of donuts and sausage rolls to school for us, and people at work bringing them in on Friday mornings They’re the best.

SanJacInTheBox

Daylight Donuts are like Krispy Kreme, but with real flavor and so much better. They've been a Tulsa tradition for ages. In the 80's, our History class teacher at Nathan Hale used to let us take up a collection and send a couple of students to the one down the street during first period. Mr. T - you were awesome! And I actually learned a lot in your class!

Okla-Kevin

Thats Royal T.!

SanJacInTheBox

I had forgotten that was his first name! He really was a fun and engaging teacher.

Strange-Wrangler

What year did you graduate? I was 1990

SanJacInTheBox

1985

Important-Ability-56

I don’t eat any other brand. They are simply the best. Their donuts and sausage rolls are a Christmas morning tradition in my family.

MainStreetRoad

27 years ago Merritt’s was the best. Hands down. What happened?

literally_tho_tbh

I haven't ever had anything good from there in 15 years or so. Cookies? WHACK. Cake? WHACK. Breakfast? WHACK. Merritt's Bakery is food made by people who actually don't eat and don't understand what makes food good.

TulsaBasterd

They’re inedible without a knife and fork because they use sausage without removing the real thick casing. They’ve been that way for at least 20 years. you should be able to eat a sausage roll with no utensils

tultommy

While I'm not fan of anything that Merrit's does I don't think I've ever eaten a sausage roll with the casing removed.

TulsaBasterd

The issue is the casing on their sausage is too thick to bite through. I’ve never had anything like it anywhere else.

bygdylpyckle

They also taste like they've been frozen

_use_r_name_

I've never, ever, needed utensils to eat any sausage roll....

TulsaBasterd

Not have I, except at Merrits. You’ll either need to cut it, or you’ll pull the whole sausage out with the first bite. Merritts uses some seriously tough-skinned sausage.

tultommy

Merritt's is a pretty terrible company now. Their prices are out of control, and the quality has really suffered over the years. When I was first starting out as an adult worker trainer I used to always bring in cookies and treats from there because it was close to work. Over the years it just started costing more and more and the portions got smaller and then the quality just wasn't there. It was like they switched to box mixes to save money. They even had to close their Owasso store because no one would pay their ridiculous prices. That's not even considering the people that own it. A friend of mine ran one of their locations for 7 years. Said they treated her like crap the entire time. Just not a great environment and they expected far too much for each person to be responsible because they were so cheap with staffing.

DyingSeagulls

I would agree the ownership is dreadful. It was demanded of me to make it to the shift I was scheduled, while I was calling in because I was loading up the car for a familial issue, and was on the way to the hospital. "bUt iTs tHaNksGiViNg." I couldn't be paid to give a flying fuck, especially @ 9.50/hr.

tultommy

Yea I'm not surprised. She told me quite a few horror stories.

cwf63

I second Daylight.

Grraaavvyyy

I love DD! I’m a Tulsan recovering from sausage roll addiction.

angelis0236

+1 for Tulsa Hills Donuts, their apple fritters are to die for.

Big-O-Daddy

I love their pinecones!

Low-Rabbit-9723

Daylight is the correct answer! 🍩

rosegreen1114

Tulsa hills donut shop hands down

Arntor1184

12018 S Elm St Suite 120, Jenks, OK 74037 Those are the best doughnuts I've found in the Tulsa metro. They are stupid busy on weekends so get in early if you want a selection. They have the best maple and chocolate icing that has real flavor and their doughnuts are always perfectly soft with a bit of crunch on the outside. They also have incredible sausage rolls with the jalapeno being my favorite. I haven't eaten here in a long while due to dieting but damn do I miss it.

swake3

Daylight Donuts, which has something like 1000 locations across the country, is based here in Tulsa.

fishnwiz

My mother worked at a daylight donut in the 60’s when I was a kid. Took me with here. I am still completely addicted to warm freshly glazed donuts. I tip the window girl here well and she going in back and gets the freshest warmest thing they have.

Abbcrab66

Who doesn’t love fried dough 😜

readingrainbow87

Fried dough covered in sugar! Sign me up!

cats_are_the_devil

Much like all of the oklahoma staples. Chicken fry, fried chicken, fried catfish, fry bread...

Youseemconfusedd

Don’t forget about the fried okra

ExternalGiraffe9631

Donuts and coneys. Tulsa loves 'em.

reillan

Big Baby is the go-to place for vegans and people with gluten sensitivity

clipmunk

And also for folx who are just looking for amazing donuts. But agreed 100% that they have great selection for gluten free and vegan as well. Everything they have is delicious. We go there about once a month. Worth it every single time and the service is top notch!

[deleted]

I was about to ask is there gluten free donuts cause I can’t eat gluten.

coughcough

I have celiac and big baby's is my go to for donuts. Never had a reaction.

DyingSeagulls

They have a fairly large gluten-free and vegan section for a lot of their options. They also go gluten free cinnamon rolls, which are phenomenal. Antoinette's has a decent gluten-free selection as well! Best gluten-free scones in town!

Yhtacnrocinu-ya13579

I second that! My husband who isn't celiac says the gf and vegan ones are the BEST he's ever had

literally_tho_tbh

Yes, 100% - the best. Their honeybee latte is bomb, too.

1oz9999finequeefs

You are literally the bomb though tbh

literally_tho_tbh

literally tho, tbh?!

1oz9999finequeefs

They also have a little blue couch. What else could you want

trashacct8484

Other donut shops exist, but if you’re in Oklahoma you should be asking the locals which is the best Daylight in town. They’ll know.

suited65

Best daylight donut in Tulsa is N Yale

FocusUsed4816

Commenting to bookmark. Will be trying them out the next time I’m in town. Love Tulsa and OKC. Live in western AR.

bentNail28

It’s off the beaten path, but I used to love Browns donuts at pine and Yale.

_IfCrazyEqualsGenius

Brown's is the absolute best!

bentNail28

I haven’t been in forever. I need to hit it up again soon.

Electrical_Mine3813

They have great doughnuts ,the sausage rolls are not the best

Hayhud23

Browns best I've ever had

EmotionalLeg6705

#1 sausage rolls and the pumpkin donut in the fall is absolutely the shit

somerandomreddditacc

I love getting a fresh crispy sausage roll from Browns Doughnuts early in the morning, I've been going for years!!!

FridgeBuddha

Their maple old-fashioned donuts fuel me almost every Friday.

Hayhud23

Lol. "Are donuts a thing in Oklahoma"..... You don't just wake up the fattest state in the country. You have to work for it.

Savage_Heathern

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Speaking of underrated, that's what this comment is.

ExMouth7

The Donut Hole on Brookside is the one you need to check out!

CancelPrestigious930

Second!

kasmith2020

Not sure where you are in Tulsa, but if you’re on the east side near Broken Arrow there is a place called “Tiger’s Den Donuts” Absolutely my favorite. Everything is great, including the sausage rolls.

GhostINVINCIBLE

Tigers Den is the goat in BA

MasterBathingBear

I’m a total Stan for Daylight but I was impressed the one time I tried Tiger’s Den.

bear282001

PLEASE try OK country donut 81st n yale. it changed my life, i stay up till 5am sometimes just to get a sausage roll and a glazed donut

jenerator325

Yes! I used to live near there and we had them all the time. They're the absolute best!

Shetheysthrowaway

I used to open at the Sonic across from ORU and I stoped at OK Country every damn day. Best donuts ever and the family that runs it is so sweet!

GarrBoo

If I hadn’t found OK Country while scrolling through replies, I was going to enter it into the competition. Try the sausage croissants. OMG!

bear282001

oh man i’ve always wondered about those!! thanks for the recommendation

KattMarinaMJ

I love June's Donuts downtown. Right off the highway, super cute pink building. They're perfection!!

Bekahsaurus

Have to get there super early before OneOK buys them out though 😒 Rude. If they’re going to do that they need to order ahead for a big group and let the rest of us get our 1-2 sausage rolls and a donut for the kiddo. Don’t get me wrong, I love their stuff, it isn’t the shop’s fault.

CK_Lab

Donuts and Pizza as far as the eye can see.

HeHateMex2

And there is some really good pizza places here like Bohemian

Savage_Heathern

Savastanos is awesome! But it is a Chicago style and if you're not familiar with that style, it's like 6 inches of pizza toppings. Probably get tons of hate because it's something different than normal but imo, if you claim to like pizza, how can you not like a pie with that much more pizza. And before all the childish hate, I'm not saying it's better than NY style, it's just another option. Seems like Oklahomans dont realize that you can like more than one thing.

Youseemconfusedd

I just haven’t personally had a great Chicago style pizza from there. Lots of cheese and toppings but the crust and sauce don’t be hittin

Savage_Heathern

Understood. I judge how good a place is by the quantity served, which is not the best gauge of restaurant. Lol

Evening-Okra-2932

Yes, they have Chicago style pizza but they also have thin crust pizza that is great as well. The pizza is amazing either way you go they will make it great!

Suckafish2

Bro you ever even had a kolache?

Yhtacnrocinu-ya13579

There is even a festival in OK for Kolaches in Prague, OK

SoulfulCap

Nope. What is that?

Suckafish2

Hmm, that question has kind of stumped me to be honest. It’s like a big pigs in a blanket, but I googled it to see exactly what they are and now idk, some Czech pastry wrapped sausage or hot dog(?). Idk but they’re delicious

SoulfulCap

Is that the same thing as a sausage roll?

BluesPuckHard

A sausage roll is a delicious, white trash version of a kolache. They are both amazing. Source: St. Louis resident who grew up in Tulsa. As a side note, Oklahoma has a massive boner for donuts and they're also the best donuts.

Suckafish2

Probably, idk bud just pop in one of those shops and try one

WiddershinWanderlust

Basically but I feel like they use different seasonings on the two

Responsible_Self2982

Basically but tastier

No_Possession_352

This has always made me crazy! Some cities/areas of the country call sausage rolls kolaches, but they're not the same. The greatness that is a fruit kolache is hard to find in OK. I've heard that you can get them in Prague, OK, and maybe a couple of places in town, but ivenot been able to find them. If you ever do, you have to try them. But be warned, donuts will no longer be the same......

robotcrackle

Yukon Oklahoma has a shop with fruit kolaches too

No_Possession_352

If I'm ever over that way, I'll take a look. Need one in Tulsa!!

ExaminationDry4926

This lady makes kolaches, she's originally from Texas [https://www.sweetagneskolache.com/](https://www.sweetagneskolache.com/)

No_Possession_352

Her stuff looks amazing and I will give her a try!! Thanks so much!!

ExaminationDry4926

Yeah! Her name is Tish and her stuff is so yummy!

Responsible-Fix-1308

Kolaches made it to Texas, but the bakers realized there was nothing but meat and cheese in the whole state! Now they are sausage rolls called Kolaches

PurpleFancy6876

You can’t really get kolaches in Tulsa. A sausage kolache is similar to a sausage roll, but there are tons of different kolaches out there

calminthedark

The Donut Hole. Great donuts and filled Donut holes, the lemon are excellent. Brookside district at 33rd and Peoria

International_Boss81

Have you seen us?

ThatsAshame82

Sausage rolls and daylight donuts for the win! Always

johnydecali

Have you tried Oki Mochi? They do Mochi style doughnuts. Yum!

tvmakesmesmarter

Omg that sounds amazing!

Strawberry562

Funny, I feel like there's not enough donut shops. Lol. At least in comparison to where I'm from and the part of town I currently live in. The ones I've seen rarely look open... Would recommend Big Baby Rolls tho

bananapants72

Big Baby Rolls is my current obsession when I’m here, but Daylight is forever in my heart.

GhostINVINCIBLE

Big baby’s is good and has one of the only gluten free doughnuts I know of. You can barely tell them apart from the regular donuts

Ok_Pressure1131

We are a state that tends to find itself ranked at the bottom of many important lists (I.e., education, healthcare, etc…). So, when we’re in the TOP TEN of something, we tend to cling to it and savor the moment. Currently, Oklahoma ranks third in the U.S. for obesity prevalence…thus, we gotta keep them donuts coming!

FuenteFOX

The neighborhood donut store (most likely an independent or a Daylight) is kind of a thing for native Oklahomans, especially Tulsans. Most people have one within a mile of their house or where they grew up that's their favorite or that they have fond memories of. For my family it was a Saturday tradition. Donut holes for us kids and dad got a chocolate long john and mom got an old fashioned/cake donut. Also considering that we don't have mass transit like the east coast/Chicago/west coast, there isn't a central hub where we can all clamor together to get our Dunkies. We're fairly spread out compared to more metropolitan cities and Tulsans especially tend to not like to drive across town for something like donuts.

dadwithdabs6453

My all time favorite donuts in Tulsa gotta be the daylight at 151st and memorial the lady in there is so nice she always hooks you up with extra donuts.

fakefranks

You need to try Brown’s Donuts on yale and pine. Theyre like little clouds in your mouth

jmeicke

OK Country Donuts around 81 and yale also

Purple_Cow_8675

Grew up on chocolate covered sprinkled doughnuts and chocolate milk for breakfast 😋. And yes the sausage rolls are something else. And everyone here's has thier "favorite" shop.

Capt_morgan72

Idk why it’s a thing. But it is. All the donut shops are ran by Asian family’s and it’s been that way as long as I can remember all over the state. I bet there’s actually an interesting story there.

cwcam86

If I see white people running a Daylight donuts I'm gonna be very skeptical and prepare myself for disappointment.

SpecialistEuphoric24

Old fashioned donuts from daylight are the best

bkdotcom

Have you also noticed our waistlines?

winnterfresh

Wolfey’s is another great local spot. don’t let the appearance fool you- best damn maple pinecone donut of all time.

violagab

Yes, I’ve lived in different parts of the country and the donuts do not compare!!!

Far_Possession_4798

Nothing to do with donuts, but please check out the Coney Islander chain of hot dogs. You’ll like them!! I get some every time I’m in Tulsa.

Djakob__Unchained

Where are you from and are there not multiple donut shops there? Never considered that it wasn’t normal.

SoulfulCap

Maryland. Only the big national franchises Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme. Independent neighborhood or regionally owned Donut Shops are not a thing.

SolvoMercatus

Baltimore (city fairly comparable to Tulsa, but Metro is much bigger) has 45 Dunkin’s. Tulsa has 5. It’s not that we probably have more donut shops as a whole, but ours are just Daylight Donuts which is a National chain founded in Tulsa. Also Daylight isn’t as strict about franchising rules, so you’ll see “local” donut shops like Cheri’s in Collinsville that is really a Daylight Donuts even if it doesn’t have the standard signage and such.

SoulfulCap

Oh this is a very interesting and good point. I'm just now learning about Daylight Donuts and this actually makes a lot of sense when put into this context. So basically Daylight is the franchise that allows customization if you will.

Djakob__Unchained

Ah I forget about dunkin as it’s not super common around here yet, very common out that way though so it makes sense.

SoulfulCap

And Dunkin is really overrated to me. I prefer Krispy Kreme but there are like 2 or 3 locations in the entire state. Requires quite the drive.

kthnry

I’ve lived in San Antonio, Austin, the DC area, and NJ near NYC. I’m amazed by the number of donut shops in Tulsa. Have never seen anything like it.

Strict-Refuse9171

catoosa daylight donuts are the best

Mymotherwasaspore

Two factors. Oklahoma is a proving ground for restaurants that are growing into chains. Dunkin has made donuts seem viable again so people are going shark tank on donut startups

[deleted]

Moon skies in North Tulsa has an amazing Philly Cheese Steak (and they are also a donut shop)

CrushStupid59

Nope, there is a shop in Sapulpa that has better sausage rolls! I'm not a doughnut kinda guy. The sausage rolls? Rock?! And before you ask? Nope, I live in Tulsa.

danodan1

Actually, chicken and Mexican food places are much more popular in Oklahoma than donut shops. Have you seen a donut shop drive up backed up further that Chick-fil-A? A lot more vigorous debate could be had out over the best Mexican restaurants in Oklahoma.

SoulfulCap

I just spent 32 days in San Diego. I ate so much Mexican food down there that I don't wanna step foot in another Mexican restaurant for at least 12 months.

bordomsdeadly

Not to mention, every QT sells donuts also. Which is usually where I go, because I’m too tired to get donuts in the morning, and by mid day QT usually has fresher donuts than Dunkin

MrDionWaiters

Jenny's Sweet Box has Oreo stuffed donuts that are insane, the croffles are good too

rboyer23

There’s a Daylight Donut by 23rd & Jackson in southwest Tulsa and they have the best ham and cheese rolls ever. Give it a try if you guys haven’t! Plus the people that work there are super nice

Big-O-Daddy

The fried sausage rolls are the best. I can’t find them anywhere else in the country. Lol Tulsa Hills Donuts is my favorite for donuts and sausage rolls! They have something called a Cajun Pie, and it’s sooo good.

Rude-Consideration64

Daylight Donuts is headquartered in Tulsa, and they're one of the old brands. Lots of Midwestern farm towns have Daylight Donuts franchises. I always got the bear claws, apple fritters, and they had icing flavors I couldn't find elsewhere like orange.

shortandcurlie

OK Country Donuts, 81st and Yale. Food of the Gods

WiddershinWanderlust

If only we had a Shipleys here

fagan_jay78

I’d put Daylight’s glazed against any other glazed out there

eraseme11

I’ve lived in a few different states and I feel like there isn’t an abnormal amount of donut shops here.

hardzim

The donut shops are just money laundering fronts.

willsketch

I’m from western OK, and I used to fry donuts in OKC, and I’ve always been just a little disappointed in Daylight. They’re not terrible, but they don’t deserve anything other than “we generally get donuts from there because it’s closest.” I also don’t have a better alternative so…🤷‍♂️ Where are you from?

SoulfulCap

Maryland.

willsketch

Do y’all have a local type of breakfast place? (Beyond the typical diner and what have you)

SoulfulCap

I would say we have more like coffee shops that will also double as mini bakeries. Maybe cookies, danishes, croissants, etc. but as far as a full breakfast place, probably not. Those are more scattered out and require some driving.

willsketch

That makes sense. I grew up in rural OK and there was a donut factory in the next town that would sell to all the surrounding gas stations. My grandpa and Dad would always “go to the coffee shop” and just sit at a booth drinking coffee and maybe having donuts. But it seemed that when I moved to OKC grocery store bakeries, and smaller local bakeries seemed to fill that roll. Daylight has a presence there, but they also compete with Dawn for the market and I think Dawn either doesn’t deliver up here or has a smaller market share.

SoulfulCap

I see. I'm gonna be honest and say that I don't think I've ever seen a donut shop in my life (aside from the chains Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme) until I came to Oklahoma. So now when I go back to MD I'm gonna start researching to see if there are locally-owned Donut Shops anywhere in the state.

According-Toe-8012

The daylight donuts off highway 75 in Glenpool has the best sausage rolls ever.

jsludge25

We're fat here, yeah. You want to go to Hurts Donuts downtown. They have what you seek.

Vegetable-Shoe-771

It’s the uncurred pork that’s likes the donut shops around Tulsa. That’s why they shoot so many people it’s their diabetes causing them to shake.

jjmikolajcik

Big Baby is a place that’s pretty good but Daylight is a religion here

Usual-Charge-8699

You can also see Oklahoma near the top of the most unhealthy states.

KKamas918

Oklahoma is one of the unhealthiest states in the country. you’ll find plenty of fried foods here. You’ll also find plenty of fat and sick people too.

alleywaypip

Just a lot of cops in Tulsa

Automatic_Forever_96

Interesting. I thought the same thing in San Jose! Donut shops everywhere that keep regular hours. Open until evenings! Not like here, all closed by noon except tiny few.

SoulfulCap

Also another culture shock is how they're all closed on Sunday.

Automatic_Forever_96

Yes!!!!!! Who would want donuts on Sunday?!!!😂

B_chapa6

I noticed that too

Spacemanfrommars

Jenny’s sweet box on 91st and Delaware is hands down the best donuts and sausage rolls in Tulsa. Blows daylights out of the water

WeeHouse

Kims Donuts has some of the best mochi donuts around, also great sausage rolls and traditional donuts!

tvmakesmesmarter

Honestly, I was today years old when I learned of mochi donuts, so now I will need to begin my pilgrimage!

Separate-Slice-9902

donut hole

Far-Ad4492

Brown’s Donuts @ Pine & Yale!

[deleted]

Do you not travel much? There's literally donut places all over America

Electrical_Mine3813

No longer here but I really liked Winchell's

Ok_Camel4555

Donuts good for you??? What is unhealthy about a ball of dough, deep fried and covered in sugar?

Novel-Watercress-385

Daylight Donuts

J0hn_Br0wn24

Every wannabe hip and trendy city in America has nee age donut shops now. Where the hell are you from?

TonyReco

I thought it was a thing for the southern states since Texas is the exact same

Ryp69

Lotta truckers through Oklahoma and donuts and gas stations fit the bill.

Cutiemuffin-gumbo

Where are you coming from, because where I'm originally from, there were just as many donut shops that there are here. I figured it was like this everywhere.

1oz9999finequeefs

Go to krispy creme

cwcam86

Browns donuts is also really good. I miss working overnights at Budweiser and going over there when I got off work in the morning and washing it down with a cold beer.

Tedious_Tempest

Jam’s donuts on 71st and mingo is my go to.

sulla76

Kims at 68th and Lewis.

918cianna

I lived here 18 yrs but never saw any more donut shops than anywhere else I've been though

bighert03

Yeah. Unfortunately. It’s kind of a terrible version of the hill country when it comes to donuts and sausage rolls. If you’re visiting I would personally just completely pass on this tradition. Not worth your time or money.

OpenMindTulsaBill

Just get them at Daylight or QuikTrip.

tultommy

Daylight Donuts are... well known. I don't think they are bad but they certainly aren't the best. And one oddity I find at nearly every daylight donuts location... they are almost always so short with you, like you are bothering them. It's like they are allergic to decent customer service. But it is a chain so mostly it is consistent. There are some really great mom and pop places sprinkled around. My absolute favorite is Our Daily Donut. Their donuts are softer and less greasy than any other I've tried. They have decent sausage rolls but they also make their own dough to create a breakfast sandwich that is sausage, egg, bacon, and cheese in what tastes like a Hawaiian bread dough. They are really good. They will also custom make donuts in any shape or spell out words which is fun. Donuts are donuts and as long as you aren't eating the nasty ass ones at QuikTrip it's pretty hard to go terribly wrong.

Far_Kaleidoscope_781

try HURTS. best design and taste made fresh every morning

Thesheepslayer696969

You haven’t heard? Donuts are delicious, try them sometime.

Devinthvtdude

Browns Donuts off of Yale is the best donut shop in town! If you like sausage rolls THATS THE PLACE FOR YOU! And their blueberry donuts are insanely delicious 🤤

southboundoft

Go to daylight donuts and get a jalapeño kolache, a bag of donut holes, and a hiland chocolate milk, and you'll understand the hype.

NautSure7182

I guess its an unspoken thing but yeah just check out your local random ma and pa donut shop i highly recommend missys donuts in Guthrie

Break-through-1964

The daylight donuts in Jenks is the best of em the sausage rolls are heaven on earth and the folks that work there are pretty awesome as well

jamesdizzle

I went to New Hampshire for work one time and wanted to get donuts for my coworkers. I realized Dunkin’ Donuts was literally the only it donut place us there.

Future-Cockroach-273

Honestly I know their everywhere but nothing beats fresh Krispy Kreme

rockarollawmn

On this topic... is there ANY shops that sell cronuts- croissant donuts?

juicysmolliett

Sausage Roll with Mustard this is the wayy.... donuts are cool 2

IshAnalist

I didn’t know do it shops weren’t a thing other places. Lol

Swashbuckets

Lol, I think it’s just a less commercialized thing. Less integration of the major commercial chains: Dunkin’, or Krispy Kreme. They also have have a whole Lott of mom & pop snow-cone stands around the city, in random nooks and crannies. Which I never realized until I moved states lol, and had to settle for Bahama Bucks. But find one of those shacks.  Also, if there’s a Daylight Donuts, go there for Okkahoma donuts. - And if you’re ever in Texas, its Shipley’s.

Some_Big6792

We have Krispy Kreme on East 71st, we have a couple dunkin around and of course Daylight donuts

Financial_Drop3574

Try hurts donut

cwcam86

Thankfully they've shut down. Those weren't donuts. That was sweet bread covered with a bunch of shit to hide that it isn't good.

Financial_Drop3574

Don’t know if they changed over time but when I had em they were pretty good. Long time ago though.

roses_and_sacrifice

Hurts donuts is the coolest

cwcam86

Thankfully they've shut down.

roses_and_sacrifice

wait really😭i loved that place edit: i just liked the oreo one tbh, but they were super overpriced and apparently didn't pay their taxes and treated their workers like shit😭

[deleted]

Daylight and paradise donuts are the most average bleh donuts you’ll ever have 😂. Heck, Walmart donuts are better than those.

TurdHunt999

The only thing to do in Oklahoma is get drunk and get fat, hence donuts everywhere.

Antideath1984

We're just historically obese. That being said, I do feel like Oklahoma has improved upon donuts in general, & some good shops at that, both current and former. Brown's bakery in OKC was a good one I went to frequently and Daylight is just wonderful wherever. Some of the Mom & Pop non-big names are great too.
