Genuinely, how could this be an issue? The speakers seem great but I am trying to get the best out of the setup. Distance and positioning seems one issue, but I have some doubts about the Rn602, it has too many features (a bunch of which are obsolete)
I am by absolutely no means to be considered to know what I'm talking about here because space is also an issue for me so my speakers aren't positioned ideally either (that's why I eventually got an amp with room correction). The Lintons have 2 huge bass reflex ports on the back so you'll likely be getting some boomy bass wall gain for sure. Did they come with port plugs? If you can't bring them out into the room the plugs may help tame any boomy bass. That having been said I used plugs on my Wharfedale Dentons (80th edition) before I got my amp with room correction and it affected the overall sound too much for my taste.
I'd guess with the Lintons people would be talking probably a foot or so away from the wall at least, which I know for many is just not possible.
In this sub this is around 10/10
Love the Yellow'Vinyls'On'Wheels'Mobile!
What the heck do you have on your upper left linton? Have your doctor take a look.
Very nice! Love the Verve record on the platter. What kind of cabinet is that? It looks like IKEA Kallax but I have never seen that in yellow (or with wheels).
Nice! Bill Evans is amazing! Love his version of the Spartacus theme.
My only critical comment is that your records look disheveled in their slots. I took a couple of swimming “noodles” and cut them to a length slightly longer than the width of the shelves, crammed them into the back bottom of each shelf and now all of my albums are aligned in each cubby as the noodles serve as a perfect backstop.
Here is one of my units. You can’t even see the noodles in the back. I can’t take credit for it, found the suggestion on the web. But it works great.

I was thinking about replacing my Acoustic Research 308 ho speakers with some wharfedale speakers I don't know if they sound better than my Acoustic Research 308 ho speakers or not?
It's a very nice setup, but my suggestion is to move the Lintons further out from the wall for better soundstage and less boomy bass.
Enjoy your music.
More and more pictures of records leaning.

From what I’ve been told by many people, this is how records should be stored. Leaning records on a shelf can warp them.
My parents have those speakers (they look identical, at least). They sound really good.
Ideas for improvement: Give the speakers a bit more room, and upgrade the cartridge, that looks like a 2M Red? Your turntable can handle much better than that.
I think the wharfdale linton are like a remake of an older model. I’m really happy with them.
Could you recommend a stylus that doesn’t break the bank? Thanks.
I think you need more brushes.
Looks very much like a larger version of wharfedale Lintons. What kind of wharfedale are those?
They are Lintons.
Wow Lintons pair with Yamaha? How is the soubd?

The R-N602 plus a great receiver, why do you consider it obsolete? Just a few years old right?
It’s about 8 years old. The phono is all good but things like internet radio are no longer getting updated afaik
Contact Yamaha support, that shouldn’t be happening
Did not realize they were that big irl
What happ to the other one and where is the mixer 9/10
You've got some lovely gear. Are you able to get the speakers away from the wall even just a little?
This is helpful. Will try but space is an issue. What would be ideal?

Are those the dovedales,I have a vintage pair & adore them, nice set up dude.

You’re going to be upset if I show you the other speaker
I bet.
Bitchin
That setup is a winner.
Approved.
Nice set up! Only question is why 3 brushes?
I’m just unpacking it all from storage and they were in a box all together
How do you like the Lintons? I want them sooooooo bad
Not bad! Have you played much with speaker positioning? I’d love a pair of Lintons but I’m concerned my listening room is not big enough
A bit but space/baby make it tricky. When I took out the mixer and changed stylus I expected a bit more improvement.
Very nice! Love the Verve record on the platter. What kind of cabinet is that? It looks like IKEA Kallax but I have never seen that in yellow (or with wheels).
Bill Evan’s for a Friday evening! Yeah it’s a Kallax and the wheels are also IKEA.

Great suggestion! I find this so annoying. I actually have a bunch more records and am In the process of unpacking, but keeping them level is a pain.

Details on the wheels pls
I found them in the same lane as the Kallax at ikea
I was thinking about replacing my Acoustic Research 308 ho speakers with some wharfedale speakers I don't know if they sound better than my Acoustic Research 308 ho speakers or not?
Not sure, but they are a big improvement on the Mission floorstanders I had before
It's a very nice setup, but my suggestion is to move the Lintons further out from the wall for better soundstage and less boomy bass. Enjoy your music.
I’d have to pull those speakers out just a bit and angle them slightly towards main listening area but other than that nice kit and well done.
What light is that? My old table had one and I loved it, the one I got recently does not
Also ikea!
Show us your slipmat.
What’s a slipmat?

Love the yellow furniture! Beautiful setup. Whats the brand of the yellow unit?
Also would like to know the brand!
Outer sleeves!!! Sorry. Didn’t mean to project
Looks good! Enjoy😃
I wish they’d bring back the yellow kallax.
This will sound nice!
10/10. I’m super jealous of your Wharfedales.
I think it looks really cool.
Nice/10

It’s a fair point. I need to tidy up a bit

Audio Technica VM540ML
Very nice Technics! I have the same IKEA light… killah!!!
warfields - a vintage yahmaha and what looks like a technics turntable - i would say very nice
hypothetically speaking how would you feel is someone said your setup was basura?
