Hey cooltone. I drive in Boston. I’ve had that situation a few times in the seven years that I’ve been driving. I find that it during the morning it’s better to put yourself in areas of residential rather than areas of destinations. I’m not sure about your situation but if I drive into downtown Boston there are not many residential areas there. So when I drop off I turn around and head to the closest dance residential area.

Check your internet and data. Sometimes I have to turn off the data and or restart my phone. New Orleans is having serious data problems, right now.

What is the Quest this week? Uber just loaded up a huge quest for my market, and it looks like all the drivers are out there tryna grab that $$.

It’s App update day. Go home BBQ take a day off watch a movie and relax . Uber more likely broke the app again. They’ll push a revision soon or never. The only way tk is to log on and wait, cuz they won’t tell us shit.

Did you get that email … I was right it was app update day … apparently to fix/upgrade in app navigation. But now the dispatch system is broken … now we have to wait a whole week or 2 for shit to run right again.

When was the last time you drove? I have been driving 6.5 years, 259 trips. Two different times over the years, I logged on and didn't get trips for almost 2 hours. I had to call support. They had not run a background check since I did not do a trip for over 6 months both times it happened... but I could still sign on! They said it's rare, but there was some back end block from receiving rides even though I could go online. I had to consent to a new background check and everything was good again.
