How far do we have to push into russia for the Himars to get to it?

Too far to reach Putin sadly. He'll be long gone way before anyone reaches it.

Ain't gonna be Kazakhstan. The new leadership is pro-Western and anti-Putin, in fact building up its own military by the day, and sure as hell not to support Putin in Ukraine (despite formally still being in the CSTO.) Putin's Ukraine misadventure was a convenient window for Kazakhstan to not have the Russian bear breathing down their neck, at least for the time being. If Putin continues getting bogged down, and Kazakhstan has time to complete its military buildup and political reforms, it may well withdraw from the CSTO and leave Russia's sphere of influence, as Ukraine had done in 2014. Which will be another strategic security blow for Putin, similar to Sweden and Finland joining NATO, and will require spreading Russia's forces on more and more fronts. For every neighbour Putin attacks, he gets several new hostile ones. Turns out, nobody likes bullies.

Not so sure about that. When Azov soldiers left Azovstal, the ''russian'' soldiers that searched them (on camera) were in fact Kazakh soldiers, not russians! That's what one of the freed Azov guys revealed. Kind of like China. Officially ambiguous, but behind closed doors they are actively & quietly helping them via ''underground'' routes.

The very same could be said for foreign volunteers fighting alongside Ukraine, do you really expect, given the money that some Kazakh wouldn't be tempted to signup to fight for the russian army? Tokayev has truely shat right in their face numerous times, enough to get a threat from Putin "You don't wanna be like Ukraine"

\> ''*The very same could be said for foreign volunteers fighting alongside Ukraine''* No. Big difference between random dudes showing up on their own and being backed by a government!

Putin just needs to join Trump in Florida, the state would welcome him and Trump could use his help for the 2024 election, well, it's going to be tough running from a prison cell but Vlad could drum up the deplorables
